Baba Kabob

2024 Update: BabaKabob prepared the food for an event in our home and the food, service, setup, communication and general care/attention to detail was absolutely amazing! Our guests loved everything from the presentation of the dishes to the tenderness and flavor of the many different kabobs they cooked for us. The food was delivered, set up and served with the utmost care. I would definitely recommend them and call on them again for any catering need. See attached pictures for all the deliciousness! :)2018 Visit: Love it here! Came back again with my honey. Kabob is full of flavor, juicy and tender. The rice is great too... Long grain, flaky and full of flavor. Prices are great too. Had to ask for more pepper... Love my pepper.

Came on Father's Day and after church service. Heard about this place from a friend and per her advice I ordered the #PotatoBolani and it didn't disappoint! I ordered the #LambKabobPlate and I thought it was good with the lamb being tender and moist. I also loved the dressing on the salad. Heard good reviews for those who tried the #Sambosas but my friends who ordered the #ChickenShawarmaSalad and #ChickenShawarmaSandwichCombo thought it was dry and altogether not to their liking. I'm giving four stars because I would come back for the #PotatoBolani and I would likely order something new to try. The restaurant has table seating for 4 people and we were 7 so we had to split up. You have to go to the front counter to order and the line was between tables. I don't suggest for groups larger than 4 people if you plan to dine indoors. Service was minimal but you can see they were busy and trying to get to customer's orders. By the way, they told me the Potato Bolani was a 30 minute wait, I was okay with it and it was actually no more than 15 minutes.

Excellent, consistent high quality kebabs.Only downside is the 15min wait each time.I guess that's how long they take to properly cook...

Great place to watch Mediterranean Cuisine around our neighborhood (Miramar and Poway). We always enjoy their Kofta Kobideh Kabob. But this time we decided to try something else and we were not disappointed. Their Chicken Shawarma Salad with Balsamic Dressing was delicious: similarly, their Chicken Tikka Korma was well made; curry not too strong and we could still taste the chicken. They only suggestion we have is for the to add more chicken and reduce the serving of the rice. Well done and highly recommend this place.

What an amazing place for the authentic Afghan Food. Loved the chapali kabob and chicken kabab. Soo delicious. Definitely will be coming back!!!

This place deserves everything about their 5 star review.The food is amazing. We love how tender their meat is. The service is fast and easy. You order at the counter and find an open seat. The inside is very plain, but clean. Our favorite afghan kabob place. Will be coming back again and again.

Came here to check out one of the Yelp's top 100 and found a new favorite in the area. Amazing Mediterranean food with generous portions. The restaurant is family-owned and the service is always very nice.I highly recommend the potato bolani; they give you a ton to eat and it's all packed with flavor. If you're looking for protein, the chicken tikka korma was a great dish that resembles a chicken curry. Definitely will be back to try more.

Baba Kabob has been one of the places I've really enjoyed ordering take out via Uber eats. However, this was my first time dining in at this establishment. The spot was nestled in the Little India Center, which seemed to be bustling on Saturday. Fortunately we were able to bide our time and locate some parking.Upon entertering, you'll notice numerous dishes spread across screens in the restaurant. It was so hard for me to choose what to eat because of how good the food is, but I eventually settled on the Beef and Chicken Kabob combo, while my friend got the Kofta (Koobideh) dish. We also got a side of the famous Potato Bolani.Once we got our dishes, we immediately dug in. Everything was delicious and the highlight was definitely the chicken kabobs, which was very flavorful and juicy (definitely not dry). The Kofta was also very delicious and had a good amount of seasoning and spices in the ground meat. I would recommend dining in sometime. The ambiance was great because they had a nice football game playing on the big screen TV that day. If you're not into the sporting events, you could also see the prep and care they take, when making the dishes. Pretty cool stuff and great food.

The chicken sandwich is so good! Perfect amount of chicken and toppings. The fries are always nice and fresh. The gentleman taking order was kind. Place is clean! Will return to try other menu items.
