A fantastic neighborhood findI've walked by this place at least a dozen times and have never stopped in. It's usually because I'm making a B line to the gay clubs right up the street and Thai food, during the intense period of pregame inebriation, is usually at the back of my mindI finally decided to stop in on a Sunday after a much needed weekend in. Needless to say, I had the best Thai food I've ever had here. I always sit at the bar in a new place because the bar is the social epicenter of any properly managed restaurant with a liquor license. Upon arrival, I quickly received many tips and suggestions from the bartender on what to eat and drink. I decided to go with the atypical and BOT signature Panang duck and salmon, and also ordered the Thai classic, highly revered chicken satay. The food is absolutely breathtaking. The chicken satay blew all other satays I've had out of the water - and believe me, I go to a Thai place in every city I visit. The Panang duck left me feeling a level of pleasure that was indescribable. I honestly wish I took better photos - because I felt dirty being in public after the absolute blissful ecstasy I felt after digging into that dish. The cocktails are original and interactive, and pair with the food seamlessly!! I was seriously impressed with cheeky monkey and lychee martini. Also who doesn't love a little bit of gold flakes in your drink?? Whenever it comes out the other end, I feel like a king. If you don't, than there's something wrong with you. I've added this into my neighborhood rotation. And you should too.

I enjoyed my Lychee Martini and some green drink with a light under it. The shrimp fried rice was very good. It was well seasoned and the shrimp were huge. The music was lively and there was so many birthday dinners going on. The bartender did nice lil tricks and stuff. It was definitely a cool vibe. I'll be back.

My friend took me here for brunch a few weeks ago. This place is super cute and the food is really good. I ordered the crab fried rice. Seriously so good and the rice is paired with tomatoes and cucumbers which offered a really refreshing take on the dish. Beautifully decorated inside. Street parking is available but there is also a parking deck. Our server was very attentive and provided great service.

The happy hour at Bar of Thailand is really nice! I started out with a delicious lemon drop ($7) the bar tender did his thang. I ordered the Thai chili wings, Tim Kha coconut soup and Thai Basil chicken tacos. Everything was so good. I highly recommend checking them out from 5pm-7pm Monday thru Friday

Loved this restaurant! Went to celebrate a friend's birthday yesterday afternoon. The restaurant is beautiful, staff is friendly, and the food is tasty! I had the duck panang, fried calamari, fried pork, roti, and the lychee cheese cake! Everything was literally amazing. I took a star off because I felt like the table could have been pre-bused more frequently. We had to ask for plates and glasses to be removed. At the price point, I expect the wait staff to be on it!

This place was so cute and the food was delicious! So delicious that we forgot to take photos of the food!I recommend a visit here if you like Thai food! We tried only appetizers:Tacos - very flavorful (3) come with this order Calamari - it tasted regular but definitely was fresh Coconut Mussels - good Fresh Basil Rolls - these were delicious and come with a dipping sauce. ****the sauce contains nuts and here is where they lost a half star from me. I told the waiter that there were two people at our table with nut allergies. One ordered the basil rolls and he didn't mention it came with a peanut sauce. Smh. Tom Kha - super delicious I ordered without proteinKung Katiam - THE BEST DISH! Simple but soooo flavorful! The shrimp were excellent Roti MassamanThis was just ok to me. It's massaman soup as a dip in my opinion.

The 3 stars are mostly for the ambiance. The place is nice. Flowers and decorations everywhere. Loved the quirky signs. BUT it's not worth the trouble having paying for parking and adding an 18% gratuity on your bill. The calamari was mediocre. I've had better for less and the noodles that I had taste like they came from a ramen noodle packet dressed in overcooked seafood.
