I really, really want to love this place. I keep going in, because it's walking distance from my house and I'll hear rumors of improvement and try again. I like the bar staff! The bar staff is always the thing that saves the place. The good: As far as a bar, they have decent strong drinks. The staff is all very friendly. I'd still go in to have a drink. They seem to have activities, live music, etc, some nights, but I tend to miss them. If you are going to go, go to have nice quiet drink where you don't feel uncomfortable. They do that part really well. They have pool tables and dart boards, if that is your thing. It's 100% safe if you are a female who wants to go by herself. There are a lot of older people, so generally less drama. It's definitely a good place to go drink when your other places are closed or as maybe last call in your own neighborhood, not sure how long they stay open at night. Maybe I just go in on the wrong days but the music can be really old. Last time I was there, they were literally playing some 1940's music, granted it WAS mid day and there wasn't anyone in there under 45 that didn't work there, and mostly not under 60, so maybe it's my timing. Honestly, my big complaint is the food. Just don't order any food unless you are very drunk and starved and you'll probably be fine. I've had subpar food several times in this place. Last time I was in, which was January 2024, the actual main course of BBQ ribs was fine, but the side dish of carrots and green beans was so bad I spit it out in my napkin and I rarely do that. It tasted like they dumped an entire jar of garlic and yes I mean jarred garlic onto that one side dish. It burned my mouth it was so much and no I'm not a vampire. When I mentioned it and that the carrots were dark, thinking it was the garlic, she said they were organic carrots. So, they spent the extra money to buy actual organic veggies (thumbs up), but then dumped jarred garlic on it? Why not just sliver a FEW garlic cloves into it and some almond slivers and call that done? It even sounds cheaper to make it that way. It certainly would taste better. I think there have been changes lately for the better, so I hesitate to be the negative nancy here. I'd suggest maybe they should just quality control the kitchen staff/food more? Still trying to get that garlic taste out of my mouth.

Stopped for lunch at this spot in Carefree, AZ.My wife had a salad, and I had boneless chicken nuggets or wings. Service was very good by Christy B. The food is mediocre, although the place seems to be a good little bar hangout.They also have pool tables, etc.

This place surprised me because it's off the freeway north of the city. I just know I must return, the food was delicious, the chicken sandwich was juicy! The ladies that were bartending were friendly, very attentive. The atmosphere was great,relaxing, many people drinking, catching up with friends, you could tell everyone was having a wonderful fime. I will be coming back even if I drive 30 minutes north just to come eat here. If you're around the area I recommend stopping by.

A North PHX Gem!!!Good food and drinks served by some really nice young ladies!There is a back room available for groups that doubles as an OFF track Betting area.Nice Patio.I love going there.

Beware of paying with card. I went here and my total was 35.97, I left a $5 tip on my card resulting in a total of 40.97. Today, my card was charged a total of $50.97, now I have to go through a dispute with my bank. You people are thieves.

I'd give 5 stars, but I can't get over how the best wings in the area only give 1 slice of carrot and celery with the wings! Hey, if that's what it takes to get great wings for $1 each, I'll be here every Wednesday! Come see Brad and Deanna for great service and a quiet atmosphere after 9, or live music from 6-9. But don't expect celery lol!

Great salads, fast and friendly service. It's a sports bar, so be ready for looots of background noise.

the food was good, cooked how i want, but my server lexi was so slow on checking on me and making sure i had everything i needed. wouldnt recommend seeing her.

Good atmosphere, good people. Way too much live music and entertainment. It would be great to see a band one weekend night and either have a DJ or let the customers run the jukebox the other night. Tired of seeing the same bands with the same setlist over and over. It's also recently been brutally warm inside in the 110 degree heat. I like to go somewhere I can cool off with a frosty pint of beer! Please cool it down with the AC and entertainment !
