AZ Taco King

The Birria in any form is excellent. Also great specials on Tuesday. The taco shells must be homemade, so flavorful. I will make this my weekly "go to."

When you're in Phoenix you need to check out AZ Taco King. Stopped by on a Tuesday afternoon for lunch. The staff is always nice and the e food is great! The restaurant itself is in and older building and could use a deep cleaning, but the food is pretty damn good!

Food was amazing! Totally worth the hype!Service was quick and good.Meats for all the tacos were flavorful & all had their own unique taste, and the hot sauce was spicy but not overwhelmingly hot.

Note: It was cash only when I visited.Late lunch on a Sunday. A few folks milling around. It looks like you order at the counter, but it is actually table service. The service was fast and friendly. The menu has a good amount of options - tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and pizzadillas. I opted for a carne asada burrito. The meat was very tasty! Quite a lot of it as well. The red salsa is hotter than the green if you are keeping score. N*joy!

Had this on my places of list to try. Finally got the opportunity. We got the pizzadilla and omg it's huge! Like you need a lot of people to finish it. 1 slice is like 3 birria tacos. We got the birria ramen and I didn't like that. The mango drink was not that great. Had chunks of mango and some parts it tasted watery. The sauces the green and red are good.

The team there was super friendly and the food was absolutely delicious!!!! The restaurant was clean and inviting. Can't wait to come back again and try other items on the menu.

So this is our 2nd time here, the first time they had just opened and it was always packed also we don't live in this area. We were lucky enough to get a table as it was pretty busy. The waitress was very friendly and funny constantly checked up on us to make sure we were good. I ordered the weekend special of 4 street tacos with rice and beans and a quesabirria taco. The tacos I picked were birria, Barbacoa, carne asada and pollo and I also got a quesabirria taco. They were all so good! The beans were bomb! My son got the king burria burrito and he was still eating it the next day. He said it was delicious and the best burrito he's ever had. My husband got the ramen birria and a quesabirrria taco. He said it was good. We would definitely come back

Pizzadilla - Amazing!! Super delicious, crazy huge, juicy, extra cheesey, birria loaded monster of a magical food adventure! Bring friends & slay this bad boy!!

I had seen Tiktok's recommending this place for months now and finally got a group together to go. This place is not over hyped at all. I got the al pastor quesadilla and man, it was incredible. It was stuffed with well marinated meat and cheese. The green salsa was garlicky and I could have taken the whole bottle. My friends woofed down their tacos. Several of them couldn't stop raving about the beans. Service was good but the food was the highlight. I will be back and I'm gonna see if they can jar up some of that salsa for me to purchase.
