AZ Pho & Grill

Ordered take out for my parents, and they were really quick to make the two orders of Pho. The employee was very nice and offered to check as I walked in. Restaurant was full of people (on the right side of the restaurant) so it looks like the place to still grab a delicious Vietnamese dish, and definitely a good place for lunch.

Ate here for lunch today and I was surprised I never reviewed this place. I've been here few times before to have bowl of Pho. Usually my back up place when one close by is closed. So many Pho places on the west side this place is not too bad. Not the best not the worst far as Pho goes. I decided to try something new today so I ordered Hue spicy beef soup. Well it wasn't spicy what so ever, nice amount of protein in the soup. One thing I did not like is that it had such strong fish sauce flavor. It was not a bad dish but just did not have enough yummy level for me so say I will have this dish again.If I ever come back here again I will stick to the Pho..

Just had dinner here on Tuesday night with my mom and sister and we made a great choice on coming to this location. We usually frequent the Gilbert location.The parking situation was a little hectic since it's a pretty busy plaza. We finally made it inside and one of the servers came running to the front to greet us. He told us to go to a booth while he grabbed menus. We sat down and looked over the menus. We ordered:One appetizer sampler - 2 Coconut Shrimp, 2 Spring Rolls, 2 Egg RollsOne Tendon and Steak PhoOne Steak PhoOne Chicken Fried RiceThe appetizer sampler came out first and soon after all our other entrees came out. In total we waited about 15 minutes or so. The spring rolls were delicious along with the peanut sauce it comes with. The shrimp was also delicious as they were hot and crispy and did not have an overpowering coconut flavor. The egg rolls were crispy and flavorful. The Pho was delicious!!! The broth had a lot of flavor and it was filled to the brim. I counted a total of 5 pieces of steak in my Pho though which I found disappointing. My sisters Pho had a couple more pieces of meat. The rice? Delicious! It had so much flavor and had plenty of chicken pieces. Service was great as the two workers who were serving kept checking up on us. My drink was refilled twice. The inside was clean and pretty busy! Didn't take any pictures because I was starvingggg.

We were immediately greeted and given a table. Place had an abundance of delicious smells floating around. I ordered the Hot and Sour Seafood Pho. It was served nice and hot. Nice amount of noodles and broth, it was tasty but it was lacking the seafood part. Example it had 2 super tiny shrimp, 1 tiny mussel and 3 strips of squid, plus it needed a bit more spicyness. The picture in the menu is a bit exaggerated. We also had an order of shrimp spring rolls now those were very good and also an order of the bbq red pork & shrimp spring rolls. Those were also pretty good. Then added the fried rice with shrimp, which was a little pricey for such a small amount. What didn't like that it still had the tail. Pricier than other places. Will I return no, plenty of other Pho eateries.

I used to love this place back before covid......I've been a few times recently because as far as Pho goes there aren't to many places on this side of town. I was a little disappointed at the overall prices and lack of flavor. The noodles in the Pho are so stuck together that it all ends up being chopped up and you can't even pick up a single full noodle. This happens every time I've been there in the last 2 years. The restaurant itself is usually clean and well put together. The service is good and the work staff are friendly. I hope that the next time I go there is a little bit more flavor and the noodles stay long noodles.

This was our first time trying AZ Pho & Grill. When you walk in they have a bunch of tables and it is dark and cozy. We were greeted by a very rude server. He had an attitude the whole entire time, from the second we walked into the door until we left. We were out for a ladies lunch and it took 10 minutes to get drinks and we were one out of 2 tables in the restaurant. We ordered a Thai tea and it tasted very very sweet and asked if we could switch to a different drink (coke) and the server took the drink and tried it then gave us a dirty look. Which we thought was very odd. I worked in the service industry and would never be upset by a guest asking to change their drinks after taking one sip. Then to try it was very odd to me. When we were brought out food we received one dish of vegetables for the whole table for all the soups. When we asked to add another we were told it would cost extra and that it is portioned out for each person. Which is crazy to me because I have NEVER been portioned to add flavor to our soup. Our soups had 5 tiny slices of meat; which is crazy because the bowls are pretty pricey in my opinion. They were filled with a majority of the rice noodles. The broth was good, but lacked a ton of flavor. Our server never checked back with us, until he dropped the tab. But of course made sure to add a 18% gratuity, because we were a table of 5. The automatic gratuity explains the very rude service without a care in the world. Honestly; due to the bad service we will not be back.

The pho lacked flavor, service is ok. A bit pricey for what was being offered . Restaurant was clean.

Cold day calls for Pho! Went here on an early evening on a Friday night and it looks like everyone had the same idea cause the place was packed. AZ Pho & Grill has three locations in the valley which makes sense cause they have excellent food.We ordered a brisket pho and a grilled chicken sandwich which is a Banh Mi. The pho hit the spot and had a great broth with a deep flavor and all was exactly what we needed. Definitely they make a great pho here and probably the best I had in the area. The grilled chicken sandwich was awesome. Good bread with a tasty sauce on the chicken with jalapenos, pickled carrots and lettuce. I added sriracha to spice it up even more and was excellent. I would recommend it for sure. They have a good selection of drinks such as boba's and teas too. All around a great place for Vietnamese food and I would recommend it!

This is our go to place if we're craving for some soup and bonding people are so nice and service so far is great! Their spring roll is a must-try!

Went in this past week to get takeout at 8:30, when they close at 9. Waiting a few moments while a guy did not greet me. When he finally greeted me, he told me that they are closed. This rating is solely for the customer service or lack thereof since I was not able to order. Upon me leaving, they turned off the open sign.
