AZ Cake Shoppe

I ordered a cake for my daughters baby shower. I went to az cake shoppe to pick it up and I cried. I wasn't sure about the drive or what I would be getting. I had given her some ideas about what I wanted and not only did she make a beautiful cake she took what was in my head and made it so much more beautiful. We are going to be using her for all of our special occasions in the future.

2 years ago I searched for the perfect cake decorator and came across this sweetfully owned family business. They were quick to reply and worked with the vision I had for my boyfriend's 30th birthday. Now making a motorcycle cake was very expensive so the owner had the idea if I bought a toy motorcycle it could go on top of it. The cupcakes had pictures of my boyfriend's actual motorcycle too! The cake and cupcakes were a hit at my boyfriend's surprise 30th! I paid for delivery and the owner and her daughter did not disappoint! Now every year my boyfriend only gets my birthday cake from the same cake decorator and he always picks the pretties birthday cakes. I'm attaching the pictures the cake decorator sent us along with a picture from my birthday 2 years ago. Can't wait to see what my boyfriend and AZ cake shoppe comes up with next. I surely am spoiled to have the most beautiful birthday cake ever. My friends and even random people at the restaurant I have my birthday celebration at always ask where my cake is from. Highly recommend this place! You will not be disappointed.

I came across this shop on Yelp and spent about a half hour on the website looking at cakes (I do not do things like this!) My birthday was coming up and since most of life is currently cancelled, I wanted a fancy schmancy birthday cake. (Or rather, I wanted to try getting a fancy cake again - my past experiences have been that the cake is beautiful but not very good.) I had a short conversation with Bry and we texted back and forth a few ideas. The cake turned out beautifully and much to my surprise, it was SO GOOD. Moist, perfect crumb - just perfection. The only thing I wasn't absolutely pleased with was the icing. I requested vanilla buttercream (on a lemon cake with lemon curd filling) and the frosting had a decidedly almond taste to it. My husband doesn't like almond so he scraped it off and I'm didn't really enjoy the almond/lemon combo. That being said, if we need cake, we will be calling the AZ Cake Shoppe.

Absolutely loved my wedding cake and cookies! High quality and great service at an affordable price. Bry and Bonnie are a joy to work with, and helped make my day absolutely perfect!

So glad I took the chance on this family owned business because I ended up with a beautiful and delicious cake for my goddaughter's birthday. We had a budget we were working with that Bry and Bonnie helped us stay around and nothing was compromised. I also showed up to the consultation with photos of cakes similar to what we were looking for and the result was perfect! My goddaughter had a Harry Potter themed birthday party and she was also a fan of the House of Ravenclaw so we utilized Ravenclaw colors for the cake. Honestly, I don't know much about Harry Potter but Bry was very helpful! *She's a fan!*Everyone at the party ooo-ed and ahhh-ed at the cake when I brought it out. The cake topper fell over (my fault) while I was transporting the cake from one table to another. So if you see a slight dent, that was me - the cake didn't come like that. Oops! The adults at this party also enjoyed the cake very much so I shared the bakery's info. The buttercream used was so yummy! I'm not a fan of fondant honestly but we did use fondant for accents on the cake. UGH - I'm dying for some cake now. When I went to go pick up the cake on the day of the event, I stumbled into one of their cake decorating classes as well. I will have to check out my calendar and join some time! Thank you Bry & Bonnie for a awesome and yummy cake :) Looking forward to celebrating future events with your cakes!

Take one of their classes!!! They are such amazing teachers! Not only do they explain their policies up front, but they explain things in a way that anyone can explain. They are absolute professionals in everything from their set up, to their teaching, to sending you home with your goodies. I absolutely will be going back for more classes and will be recommending them to all of my friends and family. Added bonus everything is delicious!!

I received a gift to attend a class and on my way I got into an accident. I tried calling multiple times trying to reschedule. I emailed, called and text and no response from this company. They kept the $100, and I lost out on the experience due to something out of my control! Shady business practices !

AZ Cake Shoppe is absolutely AMAZING! I am new to the area and I needed a cake for my daughter's 21st birthday weekend. I told them that I wanted it to look like a party/night out on top of a cake lol. When I received the cake I could not believe how beautiful it was- AND it tasted delicious. This is my bakery for life!

Our cupcakes (3dozen) were AMAZING cupcakes from Bry Williams - AZ Cake Shoppe!! I told her we were celebrating my moms 50th and that she has and loved horses. I left it up to them to create the rest. We are absolutely blown away by their greatness! The party isn't until later but we did already sneaked a bite of each! Thank you so much for going above and beyond! Also, if you haven't checked out their space- they have an incredible set up and do classes too!!
