Avery’s Chicken & Waffles

On a very snowy afternoon, we ventured out to Haywire Brewing in Snohomish to get a Christmas tree. It was freezing but a nice day. After we were done, we walked up the driveway more towards the brewery. It was their 6th anniversary and really, really packed. But because of the special occasion, they had a couple food trucks, one being Avery's Chicken & Waffles. Let me tell you, this was amazing. I wasn't prepared for how big these sandwiches were going to be! I got one with Garlic Lemon Pepper and honey mustard, while my husband got Sweet Heat. When we were handing our sandwiches, they had some weight to them. I opened my box to see the sandwich filled the whole thing! Already worth the price in portion size alone. These sandwiches though... so good. I'm not positive if the chicken is homemade but it sure seems like it. The breading had great flavor and the sauces were so good. They definitely turned into two meals for the both of us.The owners were really nice! The woman taking orders told me about how the garlic lemon pepper flavor was more of a dry seasoning than a sauce and asked if I wanted to try their homemade honey mustard or ranch. The flavors together were so good and I'm really excited to try the ranch next time we're able to stop by. This is a new truck so give them a go if you see them, you won't be disappointed! Really looking forward to trying their namesake next time we go too!

So delicious! Usually get the chicken and waffles or the chicken sando! Always good and glad we miss them before they sell out!

Had the food truck for a neighborhood Halloween party. The chicken was very good as were the waffles, the service was great given a line of 40+ customers all at once. I' d eat here in Monroe anytime.

Holy smokes! Avery's known how to do it right. One of the best food trucks we had. The chicken it fresh, it tastes like it's dredged it a bit of curry, spiced to perfection, before being thrown in flour and fried to fantastic crunch. I'm not sure who loved it more... myself or my dog... who received free samples from the owner...

Super good chicken. Had the chicken sandwich and it was huge! I think they put curry powder or something in their batter too, because the crust on the chicken is so flavorful.

Avery's chicken and waffles are the best I've had. The seasoning on the chicken and the extra flavors added to the waffles make you keep craving them. I can't wait until my next trip to wherever the truck will be.

First yelp review and glad it's going to Avery's because everyone needs to try this food! For those people missing Roscoes definitely try this place; it'll definitely hit the spot and I don't say this lightly but it's honestly better than Roscoes. You just can't beat that made-with-love, family recipe taste that pops in their food (which came out hot and fresh) . The service was great and it was super easy to order, it only took about 4 minutes to get my food and they were even able to walk my food over to my job a couple feet away which goes to show how much they value their customers! Will definitely be a returning customer :)

We've gone here the last few Sundays while they're at Bugu. Best fried chicken ever! The owners are super friendly too. Looking forward to visiting them frequently this summer!
