If you want a reasonably priced sandwich on Coronado Island, this place is worth a try! We got the Orange Avenue Italian and a Rueben. You aren't paying for any ambiance - it is in the corner of the small liquor store. We had to order at the liquor store register after waiting around a few minutes. It wasn't easy to communicate with the store owner very well, so stick to a choice on the menu if possible. We would skip the Rueben next time, the meat was chopped up but still chewy. But get the Orange Avenue Italian - it was slightly toasted and tasty.

Not fresh at all! ... I've should trusted my smelling sense, we ordered 3 different sandwiches, all 3 made us sick... The pink lemonade from the fountain was brown. Also, they got my order wrong, my son asked for a quesadilla, instead he got a burrito. I would rather go to subway at least you know what you can see what they doing and what are they serving you.

This place makes some delicious sandwiches and for a fairly good price considering Coronado prices. My husband, the boys and I ordered 2 full sandwiches.The Super Orange Ave Italian- this one was my favorite. There very various meats of good portion and a healthy portion of vegetables (as you can see I'm the photos). The sauce was the perfect amount as it did not make the sandwich too soggy but stay moist and delicious.The California Club- I wouldn't change anything in this sandwich. Again there were great portions of meat, veggies, and the right amount of moisture. My boys shared this one and they absolutely enjoyed it. I highly recommend getting your sandwich here then heading to the beautiful beaches for a lunch or picnic.

We ordered 25 sandwiches and chips for a party, they were excellent, good value, and ready to pick up when requested.

Lady making the food was really rude, should have been a sign to walk away. Didn't speak English, she wouldn't answer any questions about my order and I was trying to ask in Spanish. Got my order and their carne asada burrito ( islander burrito ) is basically a hamburger broken up in a tortilla...... gross

This place has everything! I mean everything:Drinks (both alcoholic and non alcoholic)Chips ALL brands and flavorsCandy-every kind you can imagine Household itemsANDFRESH MADE food!!Everything from breakfast burritos to salads to sandwiches wraps and smoothies!!!I got two sandwiches a veggie sandwich and a turkey sandwich and they were both amazing! Packed with fresh produce and turkey and the most tastiest sqaw bread I've ever had!!!This place is 40 miles from my house but I love a good sandwich and will probably be making a trip down there just to get one! The gentleman at the register was so nice, he told me he would make a sandwich for me with anything I wanted! Everyone that came in the store to buy something seemed to be a regular and he greeted them by their first name!The store was clean which is VERY important to me!!!Overall great corner market! Awesome deli! And outstanding customer service!

I walked in based on the sidewalk sign that says croissant breakfast sandwich. I stood there a while and the lady just looked at me. Finally waited in the main cashier line for about 10 min and they finally took my order but didn't ask any specifics about what I wanted. Brought my ticket back to the counter, the woman proceeded to clean the floor for the next 10 min. The place is dirty. Finally without even addressing me she handed me the sandwich. The sandwich was good, which is the only reason I put 2 stars but it was obviously premade and microwaved with some parts too hot and the middle was cold.

Love the quick service, amazing sandwiches! The BLT is the best. Only negative is this last time I went I ordered avocado on my sandwich that they rightfully charge $2 extra for but I did not receive avocado on my sandwich and only discovered 30 minutes after I had left.

Philly stack was wack! The meat in the sandwich was like a taco bell taco and those are not tacos. So I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone I know.
