Great food - Big Baby w/fries and gyros platter. Neither disappointed. Fresh and tasty. Fries not greasy. Gyros meat tender. Tzatziki sauce was FAB! Very good portions of meat and fries. Prices were not overpriced. Will drop in again

My travels took me to Chicago Midway. This is the one off restaurants that make Chicago food so good! They do allow indoor dining. I ordered the Italian beef and my girlfriend got the gyro. The Italian beef was extremely tasty and is moist with dipping sauce already applied! The gyro meat was very favorable and not dried out one bit. The pita was perfect with a golden brown roast. Both were 5/5 in flavor!I'd give AV a 5 star rating if it wasn't for the wait. We waited over 30min for our food. Do not come here if you are on a short time situation, or call in your order ahead of time! If you have the time they are definitely worth checking out... I know I'll be back!

I used to often but after today's experience I think I will never return. I ordered a cold sub and it was pre wrapped from previous days. My bread was rock hard, provolone or Swiss cheese seemed old, the mayonnaise was dried out. My rib eye sandwich had nothing but nerves. My expensive bag of onions rings was only half way filled. For three items I paid $43.
