Zenon Mexican Restaurant

This restaurant, formerly El Caribe, now has a new name and new owners. Zenon was a cook here for 10 years, knows all of Maria's recipes, and all the wonderful dishes are still coming out of the kitchen! It's a family affair and the service and ambience are excellent. Highly recommend all the combo and enchilada plates. Charro, black and refried beans are superb as is the Spanish rice.The QUESO is delicious! Served with warm crispy chips and fresh salsa with a kick.They are waiting on their liquor license so for the time being it's BYOB.

Food is full of flavor. Moving here from a border town, I miss the authentic, Mexican food from back home. This place is so good and the customer service is top notch. It is family owned, so it makes me feel even better spending my money on hardworking people that put pride into their food and work. It's a cozy place to enjoy a delicious meal! It's a new spot so go and give them a try!

Delicious and fresh! The best homemade tortillas and tortilla chips I've had in a while...and I could just eat an entire bowl of their green salsa! Good service and fresh, tasty food from a family business.

Finally, it's back. Now it's been open for a while but I didn't notice. I had always loved the food at the previous place. Well, the food here is great. The waitress is really sweet and the whole staff is friendly. Apparently, the owner is the cook and he worked at the previous place like 20+ years ago. So the food has great flavors, it's served piping hot, the service is good and it's clean and nice inside. We need to support this neighborhood place. They get their liquor license in a week or two so let's all go for happy hour.

This is a small restaurant off the beaten path that is well worth visiting! It is amazing and large portions! The chips were warm and fresh (maybe the best ever). The salsa was 'real' and fresh and so very good. I had the chicken enchiladas and they were fantastic! Cilantro rice and black beans were perfect! My husband had the mole chicken enchiladas and the flavor was full and great! He had the Mexican rice and ate it all! He doesn't eat rice much normally. The waitress was sweet and provided excellent service! We will look forward to an opportunity to return!
