Zee's Wiener System

Zee's popped up in the Arbor Food Park right next to where I lived so I decided to give it a try.I order the Classic and the Special, both were great hotdogs but I particularly liked the pineapple relish flavor on the Special. I've always been a fan of the Chicago dog, so I like a little extra tang/zest on my hotdogs. Perfect for a hotdog craving!The owner was sociable and mentioned how he's just one guy running the stand, spreading the hot dog gospel. We talked about how hot dogs are very rooted in nostalgic moments and often tied to those events/holidays. But what's preventing them from being eaten more often (probably the unhealthiness, but to each their own)?

Zee's Wiener System introduces a fresh twist on the traditional hot dog. Created by Zak Drummond, Zee's operates via pop-up events, and features two daily hot dog offerings. On this occasion, Zee's presented The Special and The Classic. I cannot resist cream cheese, and chose The Special, which features toppings of pickled vegetables (giardiniera), red hot sauce, and breadcrumbs alongside the cream cheese.Despite the meticulous details of each ingredient-- the grated white onions, the pork & veal sausages, celery salt and a homemade meat sauce--ultimately, it's still a hot dog. This warrants whether a price tag of $9-12 per hotdog is worth it... I'll leave that judgment up to you.

Experienced Zee's Wiener System's hot dog at a pop up and they were to die for! Absolute perfection especially when you are having a few drinks. The service was excellent and the quality of the dogs were amazing! I love the branding and all the details about the business. They are perfectly priced for the quality and how beautifully they are put together! If I lived in Texas I would hire them for a party!

Omg! I love hot dogs and this was the best one I've had in Austin. I had these at the Do512 event and they are so freaking good. I had the spicy pickle and the deli dog and when I say I loved them both I did. For the deli dog I got it with relish and I don't even like relish but this relish was a bit sweet and it hit so hard but my favorite was the spicy pickle. These are fresh ingredients that I would have never thought to put on a hot dog but it all works. And the snap of the hot dog and juices are soooo good when you first bite into it so freaking good! 10 out of 10!
