Zeds Real Fruit Ice Cream

It was 20 degree out and wanted to try this ice cream spot. It is a walk up window service. They are made with fresh fruits. The vegan pineapple was so good. Lightly sweet with real pineapple chucks and the vegan vanilla ice cream is a bit coconuty.The strawberry with sprinkles was a bit tart and not too sweet. The cashier was very patient and nice. And we get to see how the ice cream was made on the window while we were waiting. Definitely glad we made a stop here.

I just tried Zed's Ice Cream for the first time and it is such a cool spot with a unique concept of using real fruit for their ice cream flavors. You can actually watch through the window as they mix the different fruits into the ice cream. They offer three pre made flavors but also offer a build your own option.I tried the chocolate covered strawberry flavor with a strawberry base, chocolate syrup, and oreos instead of sprinkles. It was so yummy. The strawberry tasted super fresh and the oreos added the perfect crunch. I really liked the lightness of the ice cream and how it felt like a healthier alternative to overly sweet desserts. The service was also great. The atmosphere was so cute. It's located outdoors with plenty of seating. I can definitely see the line getting crazy long in the summertime.

came to zeds for a post-lunch ice cream dessert. the wait was a bit long since they only had one person working, but it makes sense for winter and the holiday season. it was great weather today (80 degrees), so a lot of people were craving ice cream. the staff member worked as quickly as you'd expect for being solo! tried their specialty *sweet goldilocks*--blackberry with honey and gummy bears. the blackberry with honey was amazing, but the gummy bears got super hard and weren't chewy. i remember getting it with graham cracker a couple years ago, and that kind of topping worked way better. they have a big outdoor space with room for kids to play and two food trucks. definitely a great spot to visit, chill, and enjoy some ice cream!

I have been living in walking distance from this establishment since June 2023, but I never got to eat it because the lines were always so excruciatingly long. I had a craving for ice cream, but I am dairy free so I decided to take a light walk to check it out. The staff was incredibly friendly and was super helpful when trying to make a decision. I decided to order a chocolate peanut butter drizzle special (I don't know the name) and it was phenomenal.Looking at the menu, the beer prices were really high and there were a few choices. However, I understand that if you're going to wait over 35 minutes for ice cream, then you might wanna grab a beer while you wait. I can't wait to try all the different fruit flavors and I'll definitely be back! There were few tables to sit and eat but everything was super clean and tidy, especially the kitchen.

Zeds is a perfect ice cream treat when you're feeling like a sweet treat but still healthy-ish?? It's made so fresh with real fruit and you can watch them making your order, which my kids enjoy. They have a small space, but we've never had an issue finding a place to enjoy our treats. I've tried their banana, peach and strawberry. Their peach has been my favorite!

Zeds is probably my favourite ice cream place here in Austin! They have a variety of flavours and blueberry and banana are def my to go one. The ice cream texture is really soft and I really enjoy it. They just built a nice sitting area near by so you can enjoy eating ice cream in a shade area. We usually come by during the day since the waiting line gets long around the evening time. Highly recommend it if you are in the area!

This place was perfect on a humid day! The banana cream ice cream was sooooo good!! The service was great and we were able to order at the window. It was a small little area but there were other food trucks so it's great to hangout and grab other food as well.

THE BIG: Real fruit ice cream! Love how Zeds have that in their name. Located in East Austin, right off of airport and MLK. No indoor eating space, but plenty of outdoor seats. 5 parking spots and the rest is street parking.THE BLACK AND WHITE: We were feeling something sweet on a Friday evening and Zed's was literally on the way back home. I'm surprised we never ate here before. Regardless, it was delicious!Two windows, one to order, one to pick up. The second window you get to see them measure the fruit and use this specialized machine to mix the fruit with the ice cream. We got the blackberry on recommendation from the order taker and it HIT! THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall a normal scoop of ice cream was around $8. Very delicious and I highly recommend coming for some visually appealing fruit ice cream.

I loooove Zeds! I stopped by for the first time on a Friday evening before closing. There are limited parking spots in front, but a lot more street parking around. Zeds is know for blended vanilla ice cream blended with fresh fruit. I opted for blackberry with no toppings, such a good classic!There's also a burger and taco food truck near by if you're hungry. Plenty of seating all around. Zeds is a great summer time treat!
