Zaza Halal Mediterranean

My wife and I had the Gyros and fried Cauliflower. The food was excellent! Everything was fresh and seasoned perfectly!We'll definitely be back.

I forgot how much I like this place. Food is legit and authentic. I wish I lived closer so that I could eat here more often. The owner is super nice and goes out of his way to be friendly.

Usually like this place but this time just wasn't good. No salad, no real taste. Just meet and fries in a plate. Kinda disappointed - not sure if I'll come back

Nothing about coming here made me feel good. First, I order gyro over fries and tabouli salad ( the one thing that tasted Mediterranean) with a baklava. The "white sauce" that comes drizzled over the plate is literally garlic mayonnaise. The "hot sauce" that's supposed to come on top wasn't there. So I asked about it and they just pointed at the 3 types of sriracha they had out. The baklava should've been thrown away 2-3 days ago. I wish I could just her my money back to go try something else. What a failure that was.

My quest for a good Mediterranean restaurant continues. While performing a search on Yelp, Zaza Halal came up on a search. Since it was real close to work, I opted to give them a try. Upon arrival, I noticed Zaza had taken the place of another Mediterranean restaurant. The decor hadn't changed much, but the menu has. They offered the standard halal items over rice or in a wrap, but they included several burger items which surprised me. I stuck with lamb/beef over rice and ordered a side of Baklava. AH, the dish was great. The rice was flavorful and perfectly cooked, the lamb/beef was hot and delicious, and the salad was very good as well. Also, really enjoyed their hot sauce. Finally, my first meal was really good, and I am very interested in trying their hamburgers. It is a must if you are by the domain.

I really want to like this place but they're not helping it. simple customization is not possible it has to be by the menu.priced high and the quality is ok

this place was open during the ice storm, SHOUT-OUT. the service was very friendly even though they seemed short staffed during the freeze. he quoted a 40-50 minute wait time, but we only waited about 30 with a packed restaurant waiting on to-go orders. it was pretty efficient given the circumstances! also- i am a major halal / mediterranean foodie. this place has to be the best brick and mortar i've tried in ATX. if you want your moneys worth and some yummy food! come here! :)

Loved this place. Yes, a smile and good customer service is worth a lot to me. They are friendly, warm and welcoming. The food, i had the combination platter, shawarma, chicken and kebab, with salad and rice was very good too. I will go back and try some of their other items.

I tried the beef/lamb gyro and was pretty disappointed. The yogurt sauce was tasted like it was just mayo! Fries were soggy. Best part of the meal was the can of Coke! For $22. I expect much better.

Is this place ever actually open?? Hours on the website and posted on the door say it's open until 9:45 p.m. during the week, but I've stopped by there at least 4-5 times after my Pilates class (that ends at 7:30) to try to pick up dinner on my way home, and it's been closed every time.
