1.I ordered for an appetizer Soft shell crab rated a F because the batter was soft and poor, and I picked it up on time, so it shouldn't have been that way, it lacked the crisp/Flavor2. I ordered the yummy roll. Which was my favorite. Overall - Definitely A on that. It was like I never tried and very delicious.3. Rainbow roll. I gave it a B, it was good and didn't taste like mayonnaise4. Shrimp fried fried rice, cooked. Pretty good, shrimp, Dvained , and cleaned properly. However, they didn't give me any sauces, like sweet-and-sour or teriyaki sauce, and it was pretty dry. D5. Texas roll was good B+6. Angel roll, which was good as well & tasted like a las vegas roll - pretty much a Replica.Overall, this place is great , I suggest coming here. Nice little hole in the wall and cute ambience. Very small, but when I walked in everyone filled the seats. However - keep in mind. They don't have baked salmon rolls or any baked rolls of that matter.Looking forward to coming back.

- Vibes: chill, casual date or family dinner- Crowd: very manageable on a sat night - Menu: tons of options incl for vegetarians- Value for price: 5/5 - Service: quick and friendly - Parking: shopping center Came here for a family dinner on a sat night around 8:30 and it was pretty empty. It's a small restaurant in a food plaza. Quickly discovered the vast selection in their menus, and I'd argue that it's quite reasonably priced for sushi! Serving sizes are big. I shared the sushi love boat for 2- it truly is a lot of fish. (It sadly does not come in a boat...) The tempura roll was my favorite of the rolls, but the rainbow was also lovely. We also received 3 sashimi pieces of 5 types of fish- some of the better sashimi I've had in Austin, period. My dad got the sushi sashimi combo, which was a lot for one person. These combos also come with a small salad (with delicious sesame dressing) and a miso soup. Lovely pricing and selection- will be coming back for that love boat!

Craving sushi, my hubby and I decided to try Yoshiko based on my stylist's recommendation. Hit the spot! The place is small but has several booths, tables and seats at the sushi bar. Fortunately, we arrived just before the crowd and got a table for two right away. The waiter was friendly and helpful, answering questions about the menu. We started with the soft shell crab appetizer which was amazing! The Osumashi soup touched my soul and set my palette up for the rest of the meal. We enjoyed the American Dream, Spider and Shaggy Dog rolls. That was among the best Shaggy Dog rolls we've had! This place is now on our list of ATX spots.

My new favorite restaurant when in Austin. I hadn't heard of it before but it was nearby and we stopped on a whim. If you think gyoza taste the same everywhere then you gotta try them here because they were easily the best I've had.Shrimp tempura ramen also exquisite, eel dragon roll was fantastic. The hamachi kama I wasn't a fan of but it might just be an acquired taste. Excellent service too!

Order from here to go and LOVED everything I got. The restaurant is small with only a few tables but the waitstaff was very nice. Ordering online was super easy and the food was ready when it said it would be. The bento box is the way to go! You get 2 entree options, sushi, pot sticker, crab ragoon, salad and miso soup. The sushi was fresh and I loved the chicken and veggie option. My friend loved her spider roll and potstickers. Affordable, fresh and convenient. Can't wait to visit again!

Came here around 9 PM on a Saturday night (6/29/24), the small dining area was mostly empty except for one or two other tables. Our server Justin just came out immediately and was super friendly the entire evening; while taking our order a song came on that we both found particularly moody/disturbing (the vibe of the playlist was very moody/sad, breakup vibes) and we asked them to change it, and they did. All the sushi was fresh and delicious, I even liked the sauce that came on the shrimp tempura roll, which I am otherwise never OK with. The only thing we didn't like was that the mochis comes with whip cream and chocolate chocolate drizzle (works for the strawberry, but not the mango) and we're used to eating mochi just plain/straight up, so next time we would order without. But otherwise everything else was very good and our service so friendly, we would come back.

Came here for the first time tnight, and it's a tiny spot and was really busy today but service was great. We ordered the spicy pork belly ramen - delicious. The black dragon roll - also really good. And the dinner set which comes with soup, salad and your choice of 3 rolls so ordered the spicy yellowtail, salmon avo and tuna avo roll. I can't say this is the best sushi I've ever had but it was def good and hits the spot when you don't want to drive downtown. We'll be back!

BEST TEMPURA ROLL IN AUSTIN. DOUBLE SHRIMP. Two full tempuraed shrimp in one bite. Solid sushi place. Kind staff. Temperature is a bit cold but hot sake warms you up.

We've been coming here for 6 years and the food is always great. I've been to every sushi place in Austin and this one is my favorite. I'm so glad I live close-by. I worked at a sushi place in my hometown and learned a lot about sushi there. I have a special place in my heart for Yoshiko because the food and atmosphere is very similar. All of the special rolls are great, the fried rolls are even better and the poke bowls are always fresh tasting; not fishy. For some reason, the wait staff seem to change frequently but the chefs and female manager/owner have stayed the same. Some hot food (especially the gyoza) is just better fresh which is why we dine in occasionally but we more often get it to go. It's usually ready in 20 minutes. We add ten minutes to what they quote over the phone because we've learned it usually takes longer than what they think and we hate standing around for our food. Some things they might want to train wait staff on: don't ask the customer how things are tasting while they have their mouth full of food, take dirty plates away as soon as possible and don't drop the check off until the customer asks for it; doing so insinuates that you are rushing people out the door. There's no reason to turn tables if the restaurant isn't busy. Let people enjoy the experience and the food. Eating out is becoming a special event for people with inflation being so high. They are more likely to come back if they feel relaxed; free to take their time and enjoy the meal. These are all common knowledge but young servers may not be aware if this is their first job.
