I visited this location after church on Sunday. It was a perfect meal for a cold weather day! I had the seaweed salad and creamy veggie ramen with tofu. It was so delicious! The service was great too. They give you water with two little cups to make sure you have plenty of water. They make the food pretty fast as well. I will definitely be back to try some sushi.

Rather disappointed with my order... I was in love with their Spicy Wonton before and now not anymore. The portion is reduced significantly to only 4 pieces, yet the price stays the same. The wrapper is rather hard around the meat which feels a little weird. The sauce and the taste remain the same. However, since they have less wonton, the oil becomes too much for only 4. They were swimming in there.Pork Belly Bao: They look cute and so does the size of the meat. We were laughing at it like a joke because it was sooo thin, like a piece of paper. I mean it tastes good, but that thin? Crazy. Especially if you compare with the picture onlineCrispy rice with Tuna: This was the only dish that save this review to any stars. So all the stars are for this dish. Rice is crispy. I think Tuna amount is alright. It's nice that even that it was a togo order, rice still remained crispy.I don't think I would be coming back, which is very sad...

Ordered some appetizers for to-go and it was a bit of a disappointment. Xian Sushi & Noodle on 620 used to be very good before Covid, but it seemed to go downhill since they opened a few more locations. This location on University Blvd is clean and has good atmosphere but the food is meh. Gua Bao Pork Belly: one order comes with 2 baos. The bao dough is okay, the pork belly is super thin, like not even 1/4 inch thick as you could see in the picture. I used to get this at the 620 location a few years ago and the meat was thick and tender. This dish on their website really fools people with the thickness of the meat. I pretty much paid $8 for 2 baos with a thin slice of meat, a piece of cucumber, and a bunch of sauce. Spicy chili wonton: An order has only 4 wontons, definitely way less than what it used to be before. The part that is stuffed with meat is a bit crunchy like it's not made fresh but from a frozen box. The wonton wrapper is also not well cooker as it's kinda chewy. The chili oil is alright, just a lot of oil. Crispy rice with tuna: This is the most decent candidate of all. The rice is fried perfectly, so it's very crunchy without being chewy or sticking to your teeth. They should've been more generous with the amount of tuna on top instead of giving just a thin layer.

Honestly this place is pretty decent but not the best out there for flavor/quality. The ambiance is modern and cool, service was great. The food is just sort of mediocre to be frank. Don't come here expecting authentic Chinese soups with rich flavor that takes hours to prepare. It tastes good, just bland/lacking compared to the soups that people pour their heart and souls into. The ramen tastes more or less like something I could make at home. The nigiri was fresh. I've had the rolls and they're just ok. If you're a foodie I wouldn't recommend. If you're just looking for a decent, safe and trendy place to get noodles/sushi then this place is good.

I came here on a weekend and the place was pretty busy. The server was super friendly and our drinks came out very fast. They were very attentive and the food was large portions. The sushi was amazing and tasted very fresh. I would definitely come back and try more options on the menu. Also, very decently priced.

Lunch with my sons, we like to try different ramen shops. This spot was sushi and ramen but I think sushi is their specialty. We started with the sushi player for two, which I highly recommend, and a fire roll. Gives you a little bit of everything and the presentation is amazing!!! Ramen selection was minimal, but they do offer a build your own ramen. I had the spicy chicken. Sons partook of the spicy miso and Dan dan ramen. Service itself was fast and friendly. Ramen wasn't bad, but it didn't wow us. Noodles seemed bland and overcooked. Broth was savory but didn't overpower the noodles. But the sushi was to die for

Xian is dangerously delicious and super affordable. Our server was awesome--very friendly and attentive. I can't wait to come back and explore more of their menu. The restaurant offers plenty of space, with a good mix of tables and booths. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for any occasion.

I visited this restaurant on a weekday evening for a quick dinner. This location differs slightly from the others I've been to, offering both sushi and noodle dishes. They also have a build-your-own ramen option, where you choose the broth and toppings. The food was decent, though not quite as good as at their Domain location. The broth was tasty, but I wished they had thin noodles for the ramen and a different type of mushroom. The garlic chips were excellent, and I would definitely order them again. The restaurant is a good size for its location and includes a bar. The service was good, with the waiter checking on us a couple of times and refilling our water. There are multiple tables and booths to accommodate different party sizes, which is great.

Great job across the board !! Stopped by on Friday afternoon for a later lunch and the food was DELISH!!I started with the Spicy wontons and they were so flavorful!! Perfect portion, the sauce was so good and the heat was more flavor rather than just hot... I moved on to the Sashimi lunch with 7 pieces of sashimi and one roll ( I chose the Alaska roll) and it hit the spot! Great portion and overall price point was awesome at $14! The whole lunch for 1 was about $24!It wasn't too busy, which I like, but the space is great if it does get busy! My server Gil was attentive and helpful too!! Great spot!

I came here for my birthday with my family. We got there at happy hour, so we ordered apps and drinks. I had been to other Xian locations, but this was our first time at the University restaurant. I was so happy to hear they opened up nearby! Rocky shrimp is one of my favorite appetizers. We also got potstickers and crispy rice with spicy kani. My husband was happy they had some Pinthouse beer and I got a Saketini. My son devoured all the potstickers. We all loved the crispy rice. I loved the texture and the flavors. For dinner, my son, dad, and I got the Ramen. The portions were generous, and the broth was flavorful. It seemed a bit saltier than I would have liked, but it was not a deal breaker. My husband got the Mongolian Beef. My mom ordered a shrimp tempura roll, and I got a spicy tuna roll. We all enjoyed our food and were so stuffed after. Our server was laid back, friendly, and attentive. The place had a modern, sleek vibe. It wasn't too busy when we were there, so it was to have an intimate dinner with a few people around. It was Thursday, and we were there at 5:30, and it was pretty cold that day. We enjoyed this place, and I'm glad that it's close by. We will be back for more happy hours.
