Cute little store, has everything you need to make your meals. Friendly service and clean store.

We went around all the halal markets in the North Lamar area for halal turkey for Thanksgiving and World Food & Halal Market had the cheapest pricing per /lb on turkey and also the friendliest butchers. The butchers in the other markets were all unfortunately, rude and impatient. While this is not the primary store where we buy our halal meats, World Food & Halal Market is now on our list of places to visit if our primary halal meat store doesn't have something we are looking for.

Bought 2 lbs of very nice goat meat on the bone. Made a delightful rogan josh. Will definitely be back!

Great halal market with a lot of South Asian and Middle Eastern products. Friendly butchers and you can call ahead. Perfect place to stock up on supplies.

I came here on 4/19/16 and was never greeted when I went in but I said hello anyway. I've worked in the service industry since I was 16 and right off the bat I got a bad vibe. I went down the sweet aisle and was stared at the whole time. I'm a 30 year old woman with my wallet out I'm not stealing anything. I go up front with the product and never greeted but asked "am I ready " I said yes sir then he proceeds to ring me up. He runs my card and puts a bag on top of the merchandise and hands me back my card and tells me I need to bag my own stuff. I thought wtf?! I did with a smile and told him to have a wonderful day and smiled. I never got a smile back or a response. I hope it was just a bad day for him and that he doesn't treat all customers like that. Maybe I'll go back and see. I always allow second chances.

We've only gotten goat meat from here, but for that they are awesome! They get fresh meat every Tue and Fri. The butcher is always friendly and willing to help you out.

I came here when it first opened to buy goat meat, which is hard to find. The store is small but boasts a huge selection of Indian, Pakistani, and Middle Eastern foods. I had never made curry and the gentleman (Owner) at the counter led me through different options while they were preparing my goat meat. He was very helpful and when I came back over a month later, he remembered our conversation about curry and made more recommendations. I was surprised. The meat and chicken is very fresh. It's a privately owned business and I make it a point to stop by to pick up their fabulous ginger-garlic paste and fresh meat.

I am a young Black woman, and both of my experiences with this store have been funny.This time, Iwent to this grocery store and noticed that my card kept declining, but I had money on it.Come to find that the cashier was trying to ring me up as an EBT purchase, even though I was obviously paying with a debit card.It wasn't until he actually took my card to swipe it himself that he changed it to a normal purchase.The micro aggressions are wild

The owner is very rude and a real jerk . They raised all their prices, their prices are 25- 30 percent higher than other similar stores in the area. Very bad customer service. Go somewhere else.
