upon entry, you can tell it's a local college sports bar- would be fun to watch games here they are supposedly some of the best wings in austin and i concur for non korean fried chicken style, they are p good! they offer various methods of cooking. such as country, original, or smoked (got original)mango habanero was the best - sweet and spicyjalapeño ranch was creamy with a little kick buffalo ranch was barely buffalo would not get again spicy lemon pepper was PACKED w seasoning - had a little cajun kick v yummy

This place is definitely one of my top favorite wings place! I've been meaning to come here for months now and finally went this weekend and food was GREAT. They were actually voted for best wings in Austin, so definitely worth checking them out. You walk in and you sit wherever you want, server will come up to your table and take your order (keep in mind) they do get busy and may take a little while to get your food order, but hey it's a sports bar so watch a game while you wait patiently :) There is TVs all around and the staff is really nice. Pretty calm the night I went but great place to watch sports! The margarita swirl was gooood, pretty strong (not that strong) but enough for a slight buzz. & you can't go wrong with a mug of beer The fried pickled spears 5/5, nice and juicy, great fried crisp to them. The cheese fries 4.5/5, IMO I like a saucy cheese rather than shredded BUT these were really good! The waffle fries were really good tbh. The wings 'n burger basket with teriyaki wings 4.5/5, the burger lacked a bit of flavor and does not come with pickles. Only the cheese :/ The 10 piece (mild and spicy lemon pepper) 5/5, the dry rub took me by surprise. Such a good combo, never had a good spicy lemon pepper rub. Ranch dressing 5/5, it's up there with the wingstop ranch if you ask me not as liquid-y though bit more thick. Overall, I WILL BE BACK. This place is amazing, can't believe I passed it so many times and never went in.

Came here for a friends birthday and they took great care of our large group. (We made a reservations/called in advance). I ordered the smoked wings which were really awesome. A friend got the Parmesan garlic wings and they were also really good. This place is known/ranked for their wings and for a good reason. Awesome flavors and good variety.

Once you walk in you sit yourself. Which is okay. I'd prefer a host. But not terrible. Service was amazing since we got greeted on by a nice young man. Drinks Are also great. Best part was the food itself. Wings are perfectly fried. I can tell they recycle the oil pretty frequently. Way better than pluckers. If you like the kind sport vibes this is totally your place. I could do without the loud tvs. But that's just my preference. 10/10

We discovered Wingzup on Instagram and decided to visit since it's rated the number one wing spot in Austin. Our experience definitely lived up to the hype!Everything we ordered was delicious, starting with the Spicy Lemon Pepper wings. Although I don't typically go for spicy foods, these wings were so good they left me feeling exhilarated. The heat was just right, adding an enjoyable kick without being overwhelming.The fries were crispy and fresh, complementing the wings perfectly. We also had the fried pickles, which were phenomenal. The breading was thick and stayed perfectly on the pickles, making for a satisfying crunch with every bite.We tried a variety of wing flavors, including Garlic Ranch, Teriyaki, and Garlic Parmesan. Each one was distinct and delicious, showcasing the range of flavors Wingzup has to offer.The drinks were cold and came out quickly. I especially enjoyed the Wingzup Margarita, which was a great deal at only $8.99!The pricing here is fairly affordable, and we had no complaints. Our server was amazing, maintaining a positive attitude despite how busy the place was.Overall, I would definitely come back to Wingzup. If you're debating what to eat for dinner tonight, I highly recommend giving this place a try!

We went hoping for the "best wings in austin" as advertised, and left quite disappointed. These wings are ok but nothing special at all. The flavors we got were pretty average tasting and the wings were not crispy in any way. Sides were fine. This is pretty meh overall, there are so many better wings in austin (including the 2 popular chains).

OMG, it has been 8 years since I was at Wingzup. My nephew, who was visiting from out of town, called me from Wingzup where they were having a lite snack and asked if I knew Wingzup and before he could hang up the phone, I was walking thru the door. We had an amazing server, her service was beyond measure. I ordered 10 grilled bone-in wings, 5 tossed in teriyaki sauce and 5 tossed in the Korean sweet chili sauce. There was Ghost pepper sauce on the side that was used very sparingly. It was a great lite snack but there was a need to order an Old Fashioned, for digestive purposes only. I am definitely not going to wait another 8 years to return and checkout more of the items that I was eyeballin' on the menu and it will be during Happy Hour, indubitably .

Very conflicted about giving a 4 or 5 so ideally I would give a 4.5. Our server AJ was great! We came at about 11 am so the place was pretty empty but that changed real fast. We ordered the spicy lemon pepper wings original, golden jalapeno ranch, and smoked spicy garlic. The smoked was horrible in my opinion, it had such a strong smoked flavor that it tasted almost like artificial smoke. You couldn't even taste the sauce. I recommend getting the spicy lemon pepper; it was possibly the best wing I've had. I could eat a whole plate of that by myself. If you want to try other flavors, I would recommend not getting anything smoked, and the heat for these wings are definitely there. Also the fries were good! I will be back for those spicy lemon pepper. I've seen reviews complaining about service, but our server was great! They do seem a little short staffed though, and we were told the golden would take longer because it's made to order... we already know we were going to wait a while but if you are on a time crunch perhaps look at other options. We came in and sat ourselves, the place is a little dark for my liking and they closed off a section so the seating arrangement but a tad bit tight. Overall it's a classic sports bar place with lots of TVs which is kinda fun during Olympic season.

These were some of the best wings I've ever had. Completely tossed in sauce and a great size for the price. This is an easy place for takeout or to watch sports as they have TVs everywhere. My only issue was the online ordering wasn't working when I tried to order so I had to call in. Once there, they forgot to enter it so I had to wait extra. However, they apologized and offered a discount to make up for the issue which we greatly appreciated. I will definitely be back again!
