Wholy Bagel

11/10! Today (2/06/25) I went and had a bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel and I didn't even have to wait long. By the time I was able to find a table outside to sit they were calling my name. The place itself could use a deep clean but the overall aesthetic is warm and inviting. The drink cooler was available and full and I loved seeing the mensch on a bench! How fun! Not to mention all of the cream cheeses they have! I asked and yes they are all made by hand! ;) The staff were friendly and seemed to be having a good time. Overall a new go to for me. Thanks Wholy Bagel!

An efficiently run bagel shop located in a strip mall. The interior is a simple New York style bagel spot with a few seats along the wall. As you enter, you can place an order, or pick up your online order. We ordered a whitefish salad sandwich on an everything bagel and a nova lox sandwich on pumpernickel. Both were delicious. Reminded me of the bagels I'd get in the city. Definitely a stop if craving a taste of New York.

I had a great experience at this café that specializes in breakfast, bagels, and sandwiches. The location is convenient, and the outdoor seating area is perfect for enjoying a meal. Even though there was quite a line, the staff worked efficiently, and we were served surprisingly fast.We opted for the bagels and loved the concept of building our own. There was a wide variety of options to choose from, and the result was absolutely delicious. The bagels themselves were fresh and flavorful, and the ingredients were of high quality. We were really happy with our meal.Overall, this place exceeded our expectations. Great service, delicious food, and a nice atmosphere - definitely worth a visit!

Went there on a Sunday and despite them being super busy, was greeted immediately by the staff. I'm a regular haha. I've always been impressed with their service and of course, the best Bagels in Austin in my opinion. It's what you expect at a neighborhood bagel shop. Nothing fancy, yet quaint. Love their selection of bagels and they are big enough that two can share one. However, they are so good I don't share haha. Kudos to the owner Nicole for keeping this going for so many years. It's my go to for bagels. oh by the way. I ordered the Blueberry bagel with honey vanilla and an everything bagel with plain cream cheese. Both toasted and both delicious

Excellent lox and bagel sandwich (I get it toasted, light on the cream cheese) and appeals to my New York-born DNA roots. Always go there because we can't survive on breakfast tacos alone. This is also a place to get a taste of the regional Taylor Ham. Tony Soprano would approve.

The bagels I had. First off, nobody makes a real pumpernickel bagel.Second. The. Lite rye bagel had a lot of large holes. The bagels whether straight dough method , starter, poolish , mother , chef or preferment, need not to have as much yeast as French bread nor a short rise time. Guess the name is what they sell now..

I really liked Wholy Bagel. I got an everything bagel lox sandwich. The bagel was nice and chewy and well flavored. I think I would have preferred the sandwich without tomato but that's just personal preference. The capers and onions went well with the scallion cream cheese. I think I was comparing this to New York bagels where you expect a lot of cream cheese. I would have liked just a bit more.

Does having plaza parking make the food taste better.... debatable lol. Cute little place doing a ton of to-go orders. They have a couple high chairs on one side of the wall you can dine it but it's a small place. Place your order at the register and I got my order pretty quickly. I just preface I'm a New Yorker so I know my bagels and my lox, but in this case we did the quick version. I do love that they offer a full lox bagel but it is a special treat when a bagel joint has lox flavored cream cheese because it's not common. The pumpernickel bagels had a great chew. If you e ever been to Einstein they have a lighter bagel, this one had some weight to it. The lox cream cheese was divine. I'm not sure if they add anything else to it besides lox but it was divine and considering the bagel was toasty, the cream cheese consistency did not budge or slide out when you bit into it and that's the key. When you go to the places that whip air into their cream cheese, it just drips out the sides. 9/10 on this one. Going to try the lox sandwich next

Great tasting, New York style bagels. Great value when getting the Texas 14. Cream cheese were good. I highly recommend!

Stopped by for quick bagel sandwich. Been here a few times and it has been consistent that my service and wait times are subpar. This visit was in mid morning after normal rushes and several folks were already inside waiting. Several online orders were not made and sitting in the system as I heard others ask their order. After waiting in line I wasn't greet but just asked what I wanted to order. First order, no bacon.. 15min wait for that. Second option ordered sausage egg and cream cheese. After rushing me through the order I knew to check receipt as she didn't confirm and already asked twice what type of bagel. After payment and placing order I confirmed receipt was inaccurate and communicated that to them. Not an issue, they made that work. Waiting about 5 more mins to get the bagel. As I was leaving again I wanted to just check my sandwich to make sure it was good.. well this time open it where the cut was, hair on the sausage. Went back in and looked at the employees, no hairnets or hair restraints. Made them aware, told me they would remake but I decline and asked for refund. After two other bad experiences with long waits (20mins+) this will be my last time here. This validates why I go north for the extra 10 min drive. Better bagels made fast and food safe.
