Wham Bam Bagels & Coffee Truck

LOVE this place! Bagels are super yummy! Order was ready on time... and the pink trunk, adorable!

Really great breakfast sandwiches! I love the jalapeño cheddar, toasted with scrambled and sausage. Perfect every time. Friendly staff in a cute food truck near snooze. Wonderful coffee as well. Happy this place is in South ATX.

The aesthetic was perfectly on point and what drew me in. Our group of 3 ordered iced coffees and ended up getting just a sesame bagel with herbed shmear and sundered tomatoes. They have yeasty, and fairly salty bagels compared to most you will find in Austin, but it was much more expensive than nearly anywhere else I've ordered a bagel in Austin. On weekends, come sooner than later because they tend to run out of items quickly, especially when The Yard is doing events like the walkabouts. We had a bit of a negative experience with the staff in the truck. They were not happy to be there serving customers and instead of posting or writing that items were out on the board they were unpleasant and annoyed that we tried to order item after item that was supposedly out for the day.

This is the slowest place I have been seen. 5 people inside "working" and took 40 mins to get 2 bagels and 3 coffees.

Really just wanted a pretty plain bagel this morning. This was my avo bagel... $7 for this. Cmon guys

I ordered an egg & cheese with avocado. Avocado smears all over the wrap and outside bag, and I don't even think 1 full egg on the bagel. When I went to pick it up, I couldn't tell if it was even open (9:30 am ish on a Thursday). I think I had the only order and the young guy working seemed annoyed and overall it was like he just didn't care to make my order. Not worth the expensive cost.

For starters, I am NOT a bagel person whatsoever. However, my friend sent a picture of her bagel sandwich this morning that inspired me to get my own. I ordered online what sounded like a delectable combination, and boy was I CORRECT (see picture for my order suggestion). I arrived to pick up my breakfast from a cute pink truck with an adorable outdoor seating area, and was greeted by a bachelor party of about 7 men. So I popped a squat and patiently waited on my sandwich. As I was waiting, Aidan (the girl working the truck) poked her head out and apologized for the wait, and offered me a free drink for my patience! Truth be told, I wasn't in a hurry, nor did I realize the wait time, but it was such a sweet gesture and she was so full of joy - it made my day!I am now upset with my friend, because I will have to come here every day for the rest of my life. Genuinely think this is the best thing I've ever put in my mouth. That's all. Props to you if you read all of this. TLDR: do your tastebuds a favor and go here.

I wanted to like this place because the workers were very nice when we first arrived, however, after we ordered two salmon bagels and two coffees, we were waiting for 30 minutes before they decided to tell us that they were out of salmon but somebody was on their way with it. This wouldn't have been a big deal if they had told us immediately but telling us THIRTY minutes after we ordered when we were already in a rush to get somewhere is just rude. We ended up just leaving and they offered a refund but again I just wish we had been told sooner.

How many angtsy teens does it take to run a bagel truck? I guess more than 3 that were working on Sunday. They need some operations training, or someone more senior on hand running things. At one point all 3 of them were working the register, losing tickets, canceling peoples orders. It took 50 minutes for 2 bagels. Which were subpar. And expensive. And not worth a 50 minute waitAlso there was onion on my Cinnamon Toast Crunch bagel

I love supporting small businesses like this but the breakfast sandwich was so incredibly dry and disappointing I would never go back.
