We were rather disappointed in Wasabi. From the beginning to the end it was in disarray. Parking was very tough and the restaurant was full in the doorway because of the takeout customers. We luckily had a reservation and were seated right away.A man dressed like a manger greeted us and took our drink order then ran off. The restaurant was extremely busy and he was the only server. I found that to be a very foolish decision especially since this was Valentine's Day! Let's plan better for the busiest day of the year shall we? We waited quite a while but then our food came. We ordered a sushi roll after getting our appetizers and dessert. Those took a long time so it's a good thing we didn't wait longer to order. We got our food and I unrolled my fork to find it was gross and dirty! Please polish your silverware before rolling them up next time.I wanted dessert and they were completely out of ice cream (green tea, vanilla, and chocolate!) The server told me they only had tempura cheesecake, I got it and I never expected scalding hot cheesecake! It was something I would not order again. Needless to say it was not the most pleasant dining experience.

Came in to try something new, was pleasantly surprised by the new dishes. Service was amazing as always. Amber and Henry do a great job at being attentive. The lighting is great as well, not too dark or overly bright. Can't wait to return!

This is an amazing little gem in Georgetown. I come here at least a couple times a year although I wish I came more often! The sushi is always fresh and full of flavor. If sushi is not your thing, they also have some amazing cooked dishes for those who don't share the love of raw fish. The people here are always really friendly and try really hard to keep you happy. The place is always calm and quiet so it is a good spot to chill. This is a MUST VISIT in Georgetown, especially if you like SUSHI!

I ordered food to be picked up...simple things 2 California rolls and a Rock roll. I knew the California rolls would be relatively smaller due to the price-$8.95 each. The Rocky Roll I figured would be slightly larger given it was almost $14. To say the least- and I mean LEAST- 5 regular (not tiny-but definitely not substantial) BITES! Needless to say I won't be ordering take out from there. In the past I have dined in and the servings are much larger. For $14I should feel like I got more than an appetizer (it was not on the appetizer menu mind you)! Sadly disappointed.I've noticed the same thing with a lot of this post-Covid everyone-does-pickup-delivery). I'll give 2 stars only for the California rolls which I bought 2 almost for the same price as the 5 bites -because at least I had 10!

We came in right before closing... About 45 minutes till. And they seated us and fed us, but I'm not sure how much that had to do with how the food was. I was there with my brother, he wanted to steak hibachi, the rice on the side was over cooked and devoid of flavor. And some of the steak was a little tough, but most of it was tasty and he said he enjoyed the habachi part with the sauce and the veggies. He had the onion soup and enjoyed it very much, and we both shared the tempura plate with shrimp and vegetables... That was tasty. However, the breading was a little thick. I had ordered sashimi, the out-of-control roll, and he had ordered a tuna roll. They were all served together. It was very beautiful. My food was delicious... Other than the thick bread on the tempura. However, the tea, they really need to clean out the tubes that they serve it with because you could taste of film of mold underneath the tea flavor. It was really not the best. The fish was very fresh, however... Which was fabulous.

I haven't been here in a few years but had lunch today.The service was very good and so was the food. I ordered the General Tso chicken, extra spicy my friend had the chicken with snow peas lunch special.Lunch came with soup. This was the best tasting hot and sour soup I have tasted in quite some time, however I asked for chili oil and added a teaspoon, just right. The fried rice looked like it was going to be a disappointment as it was lacking in peas and carrots, however the fried taste came through.This is a good lunch stop!

I called to order lunch on a weekday only to be told " no lunch menu because it's a holiday". I asked for packets of duck sauce only to be told " oh we don't have that". Very seldom do I order because of previous issue but wanted to try again , and well...... still not impressed.

I came here six months ago and left unhappy i ordered a dish that I was unaware was on the menu twice. Regular and further down the menu spicy. The waitress brought me the spicy and I can't handle hot food. She then pointed out that it's on the menu twice as if it was my fault. Excuse me, you work there.Why would you assume I wanted the spicy and not ask?I decided to try it again yesterday. It was not very crowded so that was nice.However once our food was brought we realized that we needed salt and pepper and an extra plate for the little one . The waiter walked by us several times but would not look our way and we finally had to flag him down. Later we needed drink refills and again he passed by us like10 times and would not look our way. As he proceeded, set empty tables and clean up the tables where other customers had left. Then he went to the back and disappeared, and I finally got up and grabbed the picture and filled my own glass.The plate I ordered was $15.45 and it had way less food tha my daughter's lunch special plate which was $10.45 and came with a soup. For $15.45. I would expect to at least get full but I could have easily eaten two, possibly even three of those portions.On top of that, my food was not very good as it tasted very fishy. When I went to pay, the waiter apologized, as he explained that the manager had to leave, so it was just him. Okay. I understand that you are just one person, but the restaurant was not very busy and how about taking care of your customers first instead of setting all these empty tables and cleaning off the ones where customers had left? I understand that these things need to be done, but he could have at least looked our way and asked if we needed anything any one of the fifteen times he was walked back and forth gathering silverware and menus or taking dirty dishes to the back. He seemed to have no problem tending to the other customers in the restaurant.So i'm not sure why he was ignoring us.I definitely won't be back.
