A5 wagyu rice bowl
A5 Wagyu finishing up on Japanese binchotan. The smell that it takes from that is amazing.

I stopped by here to try the tiramisu they get from andee bee bakery and it was delicious! I'd recommend texting them on instagram in advance to know what flavors they carry that day (they're super responsive). The tiramisu was delicious and it was a great spot to relax with some friends and desert! Parking garage was super close by so it's a very convenient stop at the domain.

Kinda wish that this place wasn't so good because one wagyu bowl was quite pricey, but I enjoyed it so much so I guess I will have to be back! The meat was so tender. I also enjoyed the gyudon dish, wish it came with an egg like how they serve it in Japan though. Good service, owner was very nice. Food came out fairly quick. This food truck is located in the domain so it was very easy to find parking and walk over. They had one table but if you just walk around the Domain, you can find plenty of places to sit to enjoy your meal. I would definitely come back! I want to try their desserts next time.

Wow. This unassuming little food truck has the best street-style corn I've ever had - better than any of the corn from the San Antonio corn festival and a rival to the street-style corn I've had in Mexico. I never eat corn on the cob and stay away from sides of corn with dinner but I would eat this bowl of corn cooked in A5 Wagyu fat and served with the perfect blend of spicy mayo, soy, and cheese every day. The portion was a good size for the price ($8). My chief complaint when it comes to street corn is the texture but this corn had the perfect smooth texture and the right combination of toppings. We also sprung for the unusually priced top of the menu board item out of curiosity: the A5 rice bowl (the much-mentioned A5 wagyu from the reviews). Costing a whopping $45 for a bowl, the cashier insisted it was one of the best-priced A5 wagyu we would find in the area. What a good choice we made because it was an experience I'm glad we didn't miss. If you want a delicacy, an explosion of flavor, and an experience and have the funds for it, I highly recommend you try this A5 rice bowl.

This is a fun spot at the Domain away from the craziness of Rock Rose. Very few places can claim to give you wagyu but while a bit pricey, if you are in the mood for melt in your mouth A5 wagyu for about $45-this is the spot. They also give you an option of dipping sauces. I think the ginger scallion was probably my favorite with garlic teriyaki a close second. Pass on the takoyaki (not bad, but not good) and stick with the rice bowl.

The A5 Wagyu Rice Bowl was absolutely delicious. Cooked perfectly. The sauce wasn't even needed. Also a great value compared to the cost of A5 in a fancy restaurant. I think this is the way A5 is actually meant to be served, simple and tasty.

This food truck just opened up maybe a month ago and serves A5 wagyu from Miyazaki. The bowl was $45 and comes with a generous amount of meat, which is seared to perfection, served with white rice and pickled veggies. The taste is on point with a good amount of fat (not too too fatty). His menu had a few other popular Japanese dishes as well such as gyudon, edamame, takoyaki, and street style wagyu fat corn. He is located nearby Dick's Sporting Goods in the Domain. There are no tables/chairs outside his food truck (as of July 2023) so be prepared to take to go or eat in your car. The owner/chef is from Nagoya, Japan.

Wagyu Yume is the latest addition to the food truck scene in the Domain. They recently moved the truck to be right outside the IPIC theater, so there are now some seating options if you want to eat near the truck!I came for dinner around 5 pm on a Sunday, and there was no line despite the foot traffic in the area. The person working was super friendly and even gave me all three sauces even though the bowl only comes with one! I ordered:- A5 Rice Bowl (5/5): If you've never had Wagyu but you've always wanted to try it, this is a great place to start! Like other reviews have said, the amount of meat you get for $45 is incredible. You would pay at least twice this price at a fancy restaurant, and it would likely taste very similar. The texture of this beef is wonderfully tender, but it still has a slight bit of chew so it isn't too soft. It's perfectly seasoned with salt that really brings out the savory, meaty flavor. This dish also comes with a healthy portion of pickled veggies on the side, which are perfect for cutting through the richness of the meat. My only complaint about this dish would be that the rice was a little mushy for my taste, but it still did the job.- Street style Wagyu fat corn (5/5): I'm a huge fan of esquites, and this dish is like it's cool older brother. The corn tastes extra rich thanks to the Wagyu fat, and you can see the char marks on each kernel where it was grilled. The sauce is just a little spicy for extra flavor, and it's topped off with some fried onions for some texture. It's the perfect side for the A5 Rice Bowl!Like I mentioned, the A5 Rice Bowl comes with a choice of one sauce, but they were nice enough to give me all three sauces when I couldn't decide which one to get! The sauce options are:- Mango Ponzu: This was my favorite! This is a citrusy soy sauce with a touch of sweetness. It's not super heavy so you can still taste the meat, it just adds a little extra flavor.- Garlic Teriyaki: This is a super rich teriyaki sauce with a great flavor. If you're looking for a sweet sauce option, this is the one I would recommend. Like any teriyaki sauce, this sauce is pretty thick, so a little goes a long way!- Ginger Scallion: This was the sauce that was recommended to me. It's an oil-based sauce with chunks of minced ginger and chopped scallions. It's a very tasty condiment, but in my opinion it was a bit overpowering for the meat. You really can't go wrong with any of the sauces, but I really wanted to taste the meat in this dish so I prefer the mango ponzu for how light it is.After you order, don't wander far! The smell coming out of the truck when they start cooking is incredible. This place really deserves more hype!

This place really deserves more attention. The gyu-don was so amazing. Came back the very next day for a5 wagyu. Pricey for just a bowl but if you consider that you're getting a5 wagyu it's a pretty good value. Also had takoyaki which was lightly crispy on the outside and nice and fluffy on the inside. The owner was very friendly and brought out some waters for us in the house since it was hot. Great place to stop and eat if you're at the Domain
