This Pizza was so bad we couldn't finish it. I love a good pie and was excited for this one. We got a medium pepperoni/chicken bacon ranch with side of garlic bread knots. It was a thin slice pizza covered in seasoning. As in the salty seasoning. It was so salty tasting we had a half slice each and tossed it. The knots were not good either. They were too hard. Hey, at least they had decent ranch. Hard pass!

Honestly I'm not a fan of thin and crispy pizza so I wasn't really a fan of the jalapeño slice I ordered, but my girlfriend loved the pepperoni slice she ordered and the ranch was good and thick. The fried pickles were delicious, I would definitely go back just to order those. The shots were great! Cameron was a great bartender and helpful with decision making and suggestions!

What a surprise! Flew in to Texas today, trouble at the car rental and arrived at our hotel hungry but needing to get to a pre wedding dinner. But we needed something to eat. Drove into San Marcos and found Valentino's. Ordered two slices and found a crust to rival New York's.Friendly staff, small but good menu.

I heard about this place because of their $1 Wing Wednesdays. My GF and I went yesterday for said promotion. Parking on The Square was fast and easy; we parked literally across from restaurant. Granted, it wasn't a weekend night, was but only 7:10 p.m. CDT. The restaurant was cozy and smelled good--like a pizza joint would. Our waitress was nice, patient, presentable, and helpful. She happily took our request to split the pizza in halves by side (because we both don't agree on olives). However, the wings were spicy some and I did have to get up to seek her for a refill on our beverages. Aside from that minor problem, she was worth the tip. The music they played, mostly alternative rock, was great too! Exactly up my lane. The wings were delicious-especially for being a buck a piece. Not like Pluckers or WingStop, but better than Domino's and Chinese buffets. 6.5/10, given a very objective rating. 8.3/10 for being $1 each. Flavor was on point. The pizza menu took me surprise. They had vegan cheese you could substitute onto them. Very much worth the extra $2 for anyone who knows L-I firsthand. In terms of its taste and texture, obviously, not as good as real dairy, but pretty great for vegan cheese. The pizza was as delicious as the wings. Not too saucy, not too thin, and given good portions for toppings. I appreciated the free refill they offer on drinks too.In short, specifically in context of $1 Wing Wednesdays, the value, service, and quality of the dinner was amazing. Pizzas are steep on price some, NGL, but it is what is. I'd recommend this business and look forward to next Wednesday.

Good food and service again. Easy place to show up w my husband and talk about side salad Sarah as I eat my side Caesar salad and a few slices. Glad we were able to stop here while we were in town.

Service was good, very friendly waitress and came at the right times. I got the 18 inch meat pie with no bacon. It was very greasy and the crust was slightly burnt because of how thin it's made. Some people like that some don't. The marinara was very tomato tasting and the water did not taste good, a bit worse than sink water honestly. Everything was very clean though and timely. Good for a one stop but probably won't go again any time soon.

We were looking for a late night bite after leaving a concert from Austin. Valentino's popped up in the search so we decided to come out here. It was after midnight so it becomes 21+ and we got ID'd at the door. They have other food but since it was late they were only serving pizza by the slice. The pizza slices were $5 each but huge, reminds me of the pizza on the classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon. The vibe was pretty cool, the waitress was nice and commented on our Cage the Elephant shirts. They have a beer that they serve for only $2 and I really liked it! They have $1 wing Wednesdays that I wanna come back for. This is a chill place to hang with friends for beer and pizza!

I love the atmosphere in this place. It looks like a cheesy strip club from outside and (un)fortunately it is not. However, was very pleased when my partner and I walked in and the fantastic four movie was playing. It feels as if you're in a clean dive bar with pizza. Speaking of, we each ordered a slice of pizza which was very good!

Just gross. Hopefully this was just an isolated incident and the pizza we had delivered via UberEats was the exception and not the rule. The pizza was unevenly baked. Burnt crust and undercooked center. The toppings were a joke. I wish I would have thought to take a picture of this but I guess I was too much in shock by the "suck" factor. We ordered a large half pepperoni/half sausage pie. Might have been a dozen total pieces of tiny pepperoni on the one side and even less sausage on the other. Cheese?!?! Where's the cheese? The whole pie was greasy and cold. I expected more from this so called, hometown favorite. Even old school Chef Boyardee would have been more satisfying than this.

This pizza was delicious! We had the gluten-free crust, and it tasted as good or better than regular wheat flour crust! It's not cheap, but it is high quality and great-tasting! The ambience is nice, and the staff are friendly and attentive as well. I recommend Valentino's on the square in downtown San Marcos.
