Our server Morgan was so sweet and fun! This was our first time here, we wanted to checkout the happy hour hype. The food was delicious, I'm a big sauce girly and the sauces did not disappoint, especially on the oysters. If you're two people, just order the whole happy hour menu, you'll be satisfied on taste and fullness. The ambiance was relaxed with a great music playing, the wine selection is delicious, it's a perfect place for drinks and YAP.

Came here for my birthday and it did not disappoint! It also happened to be a Tuesday which they have all day happy hour that was great! We got some oysters, $25 steak frites and the salad with tofu vinegrette and everything was phenomenal. The service was also very good and the space was decorated beautifully. Cannot wait to return and try the rest of the menu.

A bit mixed feelings on this one for me!On one hand: the food is actually good, and the atmophere and service was great. I also loved the wine they reccomended to me-- impressive selection. But at the end of the day, it just lacked a certain oomph, or refinement that I was expecting at that price tag-- especially the main dishes such as the Fried Chicken.I never thought i'd be saying this, but the food is almost *too* authentic? The galbi and friend chicken tasted like real korean food I've had in other places. The issue? If I want pretty straight forward Korean food, there's other places in Austin I can get it for cheaper and a bit more flavor. I was hoping that they would take classic dishes and "elevate" them more than they did. But at the same time, I can't fault their execution or technique, because the food was good! It just didn't blow my mind.If I come back, I think I'll focus more on the small dishes, which seemed more interesting but we weren't in the mood for some of them this time around.

Update! Everything I ordered. It was amazing. So sad they're closing. I'd definitely go back.

I was happy that 2/5 happy hour menu items were vegan - the Salt and Pepper Vegetables and the Vegetable Rice Noodles, which I thought were very good. Service was very nice and the atmosphere felt upscale, but I wish they had a happy hour deal on wine bottles. Our server advised us that it was cheaper to order by the glass than split a bottle. 2 hours of parking validated in the garage off Monroe Street.

Came here for a friend's birthday dinner and as we were a large group, they had set a prix fixe menu for us which we were aware of when we made the reservation. The price for person was disclosed ahead of time and we even got to review the set menu and make any alterations as needed. The restaurant is very cozy and intimate and our waiters were very attentive. As this is a wine bar, we did order a bottle but they also had other beverages available. Our appetizers were the beef tartare, scallion pajeon and dumplings which were all delicious bites. We also had the tomato salad which was very refreshing. We were most excited about the house special fried chicken which as expected, was the star of the meal. They gave us a generous portion and it was perfectly crispy and moist. Our group also wanted to order a few oysters as an addition and they were very fresh tasting. All of us were plenty full after that but they lastly brought out Korean donuts for our dessert which were light and fluffy with an excellent dipping sauce. I really appreciated how they timed bringing out our items so we were not bombarded with everything all at once but also not waiting too long. The meal was well worth the price because of the amount of food we received along with the excellent service. This spot was truly an under-rated gem that deserves more hype and I am already looking forward to going back as I know the menu will have more unique seasonal changes.

4.5 stars Came here with friends for the Sedalias oyster and seafood residency from Oklahoma City. We ordered everything on the menu. I have to say the steak was my absolute favorite - so juicy and loved the sauce. The uni with peaches was just ok - couldn't really taste much of the unit. The focaccia was really nicely done - loved the doughy inside. The creamy oysters with the roe were delicious. The first set of oysters was just ok. The summer salad was nice and refreshing. The fried fish with kimchi was also quite nice.

I heard about Underdog from Eater Austin's article predicting what restaurants might be mentioned in the Michelin Guide. I came with high expectations, but probably should have been more realistic.I assume they are primarily a wine bar and only started serving food recently - but I could be wrong. It sounds like the wine is the focus, as the menu has limited choices. But that could also be a symptom of wanting to seem more exclusive. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't special. The only solid recommendations I have are the fried chicken and the beef tartare. In addition to the appetizers pictured, we also ordered the egg dish which was basically like the Chinese Steamed Egg we can make ourselves at home. The cucumber kimchi was plain, and there weren't many pieces of the tempura. I'm surprised how effectively the fried chicken filled us up.The orange wine I tried was special, and didn't taste offensive to me. Another win for trying new things! The atmosphere of the restaurant is very sleek and modern, and they have validation for the parking garage nearby (it is located on the street level of an apartment building). There are also other cute businesses next door. The service was also top-notch, and our server helped my mom pick a different wine from the one she picked originally.

Came here the other day for the first time and arrived in time for their happy hour which is daily from 5-6pm. We got seated right away on a Saturday at about 530 but it definitely got crowded by the time we left at 730. They validate parking in the garage up to 2 hours. As for the food, we ordered the veggie tempura which I really enjoyed. Then ordered the underdog fried chicken which was a massive portion and also on the HH menu - this was different and definitely tasty especially with the white homemade sauce it's served with. The desserts were honestly so odd - the donut Ofcourse standard and delicious. The sandwhich thing was really weird and not something I'd order again. Lastly their happy hour also has wine bottles at 50% off if under a $100 so it really makes it worth it during HH. Will be back to try their other food items.

We recently tried Underdog on Tuesday, which is their Steak Frites night. The meal is $25 and was very filling and flavorful. My group of 4 all had the steak frites as well as the vegetable tempura and kimchi for starters and everything was great and was prepared promptly. It wasn't super busy when we were there and the service was prompt. We ordered wine and cocktail and all enjoyed our choices. I would definitely visit again.
