Tx Shawarma

TX Shawarma is consistently delicious: fresh, homemade, satisfying Halal food. I can't stop ordering the gyro, a hefty wrap (it has to be about one pound) that comes loaded with tomato, cucumbers, tzatziki, and lamb. My husband has an addiction for the chicken shawarma platter because the house made pickles that come with it are a little different every time, and so delicious. "The pickles make it!", he always says. Ordering online yields great results, but for a real treat, go to their location in The Thicket food court so you can grab dessert from Artipasta, or cheesecake or tacos or Vietnamese to go with your shawarma!

This food trucks is located in a nice spot close to South Lamar with several benches and open seating area.Food is served in to-go containers.Both falafel plate and chicken shawarma plates were served with side salad and flavorful saffron rice. The mains were freshly made and served warm.

This place does not miss!!!!! I've been eating here for years now, and they're consistent every time. Flavorful, healthy, just overall tasty as heck. Can't recommend this place more!!!

I'm in Austin for business from So-Cal. Came across this food truck heading into the city. I enjoy Mediterranean food so I decided to give it a GO! I decided on the Gyro Plate and oh Boy, this was a great choice. It had everything from meat, rice and salad. The meat was perfectly seasoned, sauce and rice were perfect in balanced flavor... not too salty. And the salad was fresh, crispy and light. Perfect balance in my opinion. Real happy I stopped in. It was awesome!

The food is excellent! I ordered a chicken shawarma and dolmas. The dolmas were sooo good! The shawarma was huge and I was able to share bc of how big the portion was, so good too! Most of all- excellent customer service! I had gotten distracted with my little one and accidentally left my wallet there, it was safe and sound when I returned to pick it up. Thank you so much for your kindness! Definitely recommend and we will be back!

Fries were phenomenal. The chicken shawarma wrap was over seasoned and very little garlic. It was just okay, not what I thought it was going to be and have had better.

This food truck is a regular stop for me, and for good reason! The food is consistently delicious. I've came here countless times and never get tired of it. What really makes the experience better is the fantastic staff. Mohammed, in particular, always makes my day with his positive attitude and genuine friendliness. He's great to chat with while ordering. So beyond the amazing food and service, the truck's location is also a plus. It's a relaxing spot without any harsh, overwhelming lighting, making it a great place to unwind and enjoy a meal. I do recommend to come and visit

The best Mediterranean food truck ever! I recommend it everyone should try it ;).It's very different from any other food and has excellent flavor. The food is always served fresh.
