It specializes in Maharastrian food and once we got to know that, we rushed there!! After a long time we had tasted proper Mumbai style fish, chaat and many more!! If you ask me, we asked chef which dishes are recommended and whatever he suggested we tasted and it was super yum!!Especially I loved Katori Samosa Chaat, Pomfret fry, Pithla Bhakhri (As I love simple healthy food) and Tambda Rassa But I would recommend to try their other dishes as well!Staffs are super nice and chef sometimes visits customers and interacts for feedback and share stories behind the food!Spacious place to have a private event as well! The dishes we tasted were OG!!!! May be we had Maharastrian food after a loooooooong time or it was chef's magic!! But it was OG!!!We would highly recommend this place!!!

We ordered Kolhapuri mutton and Tambda rassa. These dishes were something that we never experienced in the US. If you love goat meat and tolerate spicy, you must try these dishes. Their fried Bombil (Bombay Duck) are too good and very rare to find in US. Their service was very good, people were very polite. If they improve the ambience of the place and bathrooms, that will help them attract lot of people who are foodies. This restaurant has a bright future ahead.

Another gem of Indian restaurant that brings Maharashtrian food to ATXTook takeway, easy pick up, the owner was very considerate and made mango lassi and sol kadhi during pick up so they don't spoil.Malai kofta and peshawari naan were amazing. Paneer tikka was good. Veg kolahpuri and bhakri were amazing, nothing like that in ATX atm.Mango lassi was great but sol kadhi is an acquired taste.

First time trying Maharashtrian flavors and wow! You can taste a difference even in the garlic naan. Located in a small corner of the shopping strip it'll be easy to miss.We barely missed the lunch buffet and ended up ordering a la carte. We ordered the Bombil fry and butter chicken with rice and garlic naan.Everything tasted great!Unfortunately, for the price you pay, the portion sizes are very small. For instance, the butter chicken looked like tomato soup with a few chunks of chicken. For $15 I would expect more. The customer service was short and sweet. The utensils were dirty and that was my biggest issue.

I love maharashtrian food, I grew up in Maharashtra so imagine my excitement when I found out about this restaurant. I was soooo excited to try it out. As you can tell tell from my review, I'm mostly disappointed.First thing first, when you walk in - you'll notice you things - the decor is decent and that there's no host that'll seat you, leaving you in a state of a bit of confusión what to do - do you seat yourself diner style?! Then, you'd quickly find out the service is non existant at this place. All of this can easily overlooked if there was good food - I ordered - Sabudana Vada - 5/5. It was really good!!- Jhunka bhakri(my fav) 1/5 - The jhunka was too dry and the bhakri was like rubber, the edges were sooooo hard that I had trouble even to separate the edges- Hakka Noodles 2/5 - tasty but the veggies had some kind of raw smell- Thalipeeth - 1/5, I had no idea what I was eatingThis would have been a great opportunity for this restaurant to be epic - if the traditional Maharastrian dishes can't be made right, I don't know if I have an incentive to go back. Sorry!

Amazing food! We decided to give the weekend buffet a try and loved everything that was on the menu. We were missing a taste of Maharashtra and konkan. To begin with the kokum sarbat was refreshing. The moong wada and Sabudana wada was delicious. Mutton curry, chicken saoji, Pulav, halwa, Chana sag, Malvani fish curry, prawns koliwadi were our favorites. Tulsi will satisfy your Maharashtrian food cravings. Mr. Raikar who was our server was very helpful and attentive. Thank you Mr. Raikar. We will definitely come again to try the rest of the menu.

I'm not an expert on Maharastrian cuisine but I was really impressed with the food at Tulsi. The dishes were flavoursome and characterful and it was great to try new Indian dishes beyond the standard fare. The Thecha paneer was a subtle but spicy sizzling delight mixing white cabbage, green pepper and chilli, and the Saoji curry with goat was warm, earthy and satisfying. Would definitely recommend and come again.

A friend and I decided to try this and got there at 11:00am for an early weekday lunch. When we entered the restaurant we were immediately told that they open at 11:30 when the website and door confirmed it opened at 11. So we had to venture off and wait 30 minutes to officially open. When we returned at about 11:35-11:40am, half of the buffet items were not on the buffet table so we decided to start with a Manchurian soup which was tasty. The buffet hot table trays are very small so refilling those items are not quite on par and you have to wait for it to be replenished. Even after being there for 15-30 minutes, not all buffet items were brought out yet. Although we thought the food was good, I had a bad first time impression from the start after driving 15 miles to try this new place and opening later than what is advertised. That was a turn off. We all have schedules of our own too. Staff were ok, our waters were replenished and plates were removed from the table. It was an experience.

Catered from this restaurant for a dinner party. Got garlic naan, paneer butter masala, jeera rice, daal makhani, aloo gobi, and gulab jamun. Each dish was delicious and flavorful. All our guests loved the food and took multiple helpings. Portions were huge and of high quality. The owner, Shekhar Patil and his staff went above and beyond with their service as well. Food was prepared on time and well packed. Highly recommend catering from here!
