Tommy Zmoke BBQ

Tommy is an excellent pit-master!! The brisket is top notch, probably some of the best I've had in a long time. I grew up in Central Texas so I know good bbq. We also had coleslaw, potato salad, Mac n cheese, and pinto beans. I think the potato salad was my favorite. It was very creamy and flavorful. The coleslaw was awesome because it had a vinegar taste, but was creamy. The mac & cheese was cheesy and smooth, and the pinto beans had a nice flavor too. Overall I'd say you definitely need to come here, Tommy provides excellent customer service!

Brisket was FANTASTIC.Green beans nice and spicy.My potato salad was still partially frozen/icy when I got it home so didn't really eat it...was probably good though Not what J would consider a generous portion for almost $20 (like $17 and change) So bc brisket was SO good but I felt price point was a little high and my frozen potatoes and thus I can't go any higher than a 4 ALSO-if you are a sauce fan this place is not for you. They don't "do sauce". Not that it needs it, but just in case you were expecting it...

Yes!!! They are open 24/7 on Friday and Saturday! He is up smoking the meats and said he might as well be open! Brisket: super smoky. Ask for burnt ends--awesome!Green beans: spicy, smoked with tomato (Rotel?) also awesome!Terry devoured his brisket, potatoes n beans. He preferred the potatoes, but I don't know why. He ate all of it and didn't let me try...Expect a few minutes of wait time. It's all made freshly for you. There are picnic tables to eat, but we just take it togo. White Water concert goers: Only food open late at night. This is your go-to spot. Enjoy!

Such a great find. We found this place after we went to another barbecue place. This was so much better. Wish we found this first. Customer service is better here too. If you are in the Canyon Lake area tubing and want barbecue, this is the place to be. We got the brisket and the hash browns (like home fries) are very good. No need for sauce on the brisket.

Delicious BBQ. This is one of my 2 favorite BBQ places in Canyon Lake. Good service from a food truck. The brisket is so good that you don't need sauce!

EAT HERE. The food, service, and ambiance was GREAT. Believe it or not, it's pretty hard to find a quality BBQ place, and this places takes the cake! One man show, makes everything himself, and oh my gosh it's amazing. The brisket is a 32 hour process, and the natural juices dripping from it are enough that there is no sauce needed. The meat says it all. The potato salad and Mac is also great. Highly recommend.

Great bbq on Labor Day! Had the brisket and the pork with homemade sides. Everything tasted excellent! Super nice owner & great communication. 100% recommend!

Saw a Hidden Legend BBQ sign on my way back to the resort. Stopped and discovered it was a Tommy's Zmoke Barbecue stand. Just down the road from the toobin stops and bars. I was skeptical when I saw there was no sauce with the meats, but I ordered the pulled pork and sausage anyway. NO REGRETS!!! Tender and tasty. I almost didn't leave any for my wife and grandson to try.
