What a find! Gorgeous setting, beautiful interior friendly service. We ordered the tacos and the corn tortillas were the best I have ever had. The guac was solid. We would come back. It's just getting going and I'm gunning for a VIP seat because it's gonna be a Tomalong wait real soon for reservations.

Located inside of the newly opened Bacalar (owned & operated by 2018 Top Chef winner Gabriel Erales) is Tómalo, a quaint little taco window that operates right out of Bacalar's kitchen before it opens in the evening. Using a portion of Bacalar's outdoor seating, this spot is great for a relaxed quick sit-down or take away breakfast/lunch taco. I had the migas & their Yucatan pork belly, egg, & cheese breakfast tacos and they were both great. Migas traditionally lends itself to a very specific subset of ingredients which they pulled off wonderfully, but if you're coming here I highly recommend giving that pork belly a first try as well as their other more traditional/unique tacos that you may not find elsewhere. Their salsas are also very good quality. The green has a very apparent creamy lime quality that I love, and their red is likely my favorite. Be prepared though if you try out their 3rd (orange colored) salsa, it'll put a fire in ya.

Excellent taco window. They were out of flour tortillas but the chorizo egg & potato was exactly what I needed. Amazing watermelon agua Fresca too!

Love the burritos here. They're not oily like all the other taco/burrito spots in town. The tacos are very good too. The steak and egg breakfast burrito is delicious as is the migas burrito. I wish they had a little bit of rice but otherwise the burritos are filling and very fresh. I love the tortilla they make. The steak tacos are very flavorful. This place is not known and is very underrated in ATX for now.

Things started going downhill when Bacalar closed. They no longer use the pork fat tortillas, which were amazing. Now they don't open before noon. They still have breakfast tacos, but they aren't open for breakfast. Not even on the weekends. WTF?

Such a good spot for a quick bite. Staff is so nice and hospitable. The food is so so good with nice salsa selections.
