Tokyo Steak House is a wonderful place to celebrate special moments. It appears to resemble Benihana restaurant setup, but a bit more affordable. We celebrated my daughter's 32nd birthday. But since she was not available, we dined in her honor. I read the reviews and determined that folks either have a "Loved it" or Hated it" experience. (Yet I notice restaurant management always replied to the negative comments). From 5 stars - 1 stars. I couldn't decide, so I went with the opinions of my fellow "Elites". Most of them had a 4-5 star experience. When we arrived at least three of the teppanyaki grills were already occupied. We wound up dinning at our own grill, with no other guests. I've eaten at Benihana restaurants before and always had a full table, so this was a bit definitely different. I've always enjoyed the fellowship of strangers over a good meal. We both order Sirloin Steak combo meals. My wife ordered Sirloin Steak and Chicken. I ordered Steak and Salmon. Our Chef arrived and started the show. I've already seen it performed at two other tables, so I knew the drill. Yet our guy was very enthusiastic about his performance. But his true skills were revealed in his cooking. Watching him prepare the meals was poetry in motion. Both steaks were seasoned well. Cooked as requested and quite juicy. Lots of butter and what ever "secret sauce" is in the red mystery bottle. My salmon was nice and tender, with a slight crust on the outside. Just the way I like it (how did he know???) While watching him cook, I thought for sure it would be over cooked, yet I hesitated to comment. Glad I did, as it was prepared perfectly. Overall service was outstanding! Delicious food. Price reflected the quality we enjoyed. My dining experience was fulfilled. Come celebrate your next event at Tokyo Steak House. They have plenty of steel teppanyaki grills. There are also tables to just enjoy the meal, without the show, although at some tables you might get a partial view. It's a great affordable way to enjoy Asian cooking that isn't takeout. Come and enjoy the fun. Michael C. - Georgetown, Tx.

Restaurant located in the La Frontera area. Lots of parking available and a very quick wait time for hibachi when we visited.Hibachi was good, typical. The shrimp tempura sushi roll is my favorite! Idk what it is but it's bigger and tastes better than when I order it from other restaurants. Only thing I disliked is that this hibachi place didn't offer yum yum sauce. I saw on another review (after visiting) that they have for an extra price, but no one even offered or mentioned it when dining in. Other than that, food and service were great.

Lovely impromptu hibachi lunch at Tokyo Steakhouse House in La Frontera. We were seated quickly and enjoyed the hibachi skills of our chef. We also ordered a sushi roll which was fresh and well-prepared. This is definitely not as upscale as Benihana but still a great, affordable option the whole family will enjoy. We saw many birthdays and special occasion tables throughout. Fun, family restaurant with delicious food.

Tokyo Steak House has teppanyaki, sushi and bento boxes so everyone is sure to find something to enjoy. On a Friday night I got the shrimp tempura bento box. In the restaurant you're able to see the teppanyaki tables and catch a glimpse of the show even if you aren't sat there. The service was friendly and quick. Everything was excellent quality making it a great spot for lunch or dinner.

The ragoons were fine but a bit dry. We got the volcano roll and snow crab. Both reminded me of grocery store sushi. It's fine, nothing to write home about. Both rolls were drenched in mayo so that's really all you can taste. I also got the mochi, it was probably just store brand- good but not worth 5$ for 2 pieces. Overall for the price I'm sure there's better sushi places.

Well, let's try this the second time I think I added too many pictures and videos and it got stuck in my phone and when I had to shut the phone off I lost the review!!!!Anyway, my daughter had decided to have a small gathering in memory of her son who passed away December 2022, and whose birthday was St. Patrick's Day. She made reservations and determined that a Teppanyaki table accommodated 10 people. It ended up being perfect for our group. I have been here many times as it's an absolute all-time favorite of all of our grandchildren so we celebrated many birthdays through the years ,here .The hubster is not fond of it as he feels like it's expensive, but he does not take him into consideration that you're getting a show with your meal !! Part of it is that he doesn't eat rice and he's not fond of the Teppanyaki style cooking!!! Now for the positive there is another menu available and it offers sushi that is good quality so that's what he orders when we go there. My daughters 86-year-old mother-in-law also ordered off the menu and had a appetizer of coconut shrimp with a green salad and their delicious ginger dressing and she was very satisfied with her meal..That left eight of us that decided to have Teppanyaki, and once the staff took our protein orders ranging from lobster to steak, shrimp and chicken--we all were excited as our our talented chef arrived at the griddle .During the initial part of the show, (when there's lots of fire) out server was delivering bowls of hot broth and iceberg lettuce salad with that delicious ginger dressing they make !!! Those come along with all Teppanyaki meals. Leaving some pictures and videos below so you can see part of our showOur heavenly grandson used to love coming to Tokyo steakhouse for the show and for the food!!! I can't even tell you how many bowls of fried rice he would eat!All of our meals were good and proteins were prepared and we received exactly what we ordered. Stack of griddled vegetables was also cooked along with a huge mountain of fried rice. Complete with all the yummy things that go in it, especially eggs.We enjoyed the show. We all had great memories to share. If you do have a birthday in your party, there is a special celebration where some of the staff come over with Japanese drums and sing, happy birthday and present you with a complementary dessert. I had visited with our chef a little bit and determined that he had three years of training before he was able to come out in front of a griddle that contained paying guests .We all had a good time, the food was good if a little pricey, and the atmosphere is a lot of fun. Try it for a special occasion we think you'll enjoy it!

Decent experience, not as nice inside as similar style restaurants. Got the hibachi experience but they charge extra for yum yum sauce and fried rice. Not the best not the worst.
