It's great to have another Filipino option in Austin with this one serving out of 5610 Food Co. complex which houses a bunch of cloud kitchens. I somehow found this place on my IG feed and added it to my list of places to try and since I knew this was a cloud kitchen I was glad they were also available on the delivery apps so decided on this place for lunch. You can also order directly and pick it up as well to save on service fees and delivery costs.I grew up eating Filipino food and so to me this is comfort. The pancit (noodle) was tasty and had enough sweet to cut the soy. It's a combination of meats and a good pancit is always how the vegetables are cut and definitely how the cabbage is hand torn. It's also how the sauce is braised and integrated into the noodles. This definitely is more braised and so you would typically squeeze wedges of lemon to cut the flavor; iykyk that Filipinos tend to like sour and vinegar so adding lemon as an accoutrement is a must. The pancit bihon also comes with 4pcs of lumpia shanghai. The filling was delish probably one of the better lumpia's available in the Austin area (there aren't many options) but this one goes to the top though they could probably be more crispy and tightly rolled but I think I like they didn't roll them so perfect to make it more home style. I am also a fan of the little Mac salad that came with my dish. If you're familiar with the Hawaiian style it's almost the same but the Filipino one adds chicken and is slightly sweeter pineapple and sweet relish. They also have Filipino bbq, bangus (milkfish), your -log style dishes which are savory sometimes sweet proteins over rice and a fried egg. Weekends appear to have some special items. They even have kare kare (a traditional peanut curry with vegetables and oxtail) and a clear beef soup with soup bones and cabbage. Can't wait to try more of their menu. If you're missing Filipino food and you're in north central Austin this is really one of two places and if you haven't tried home style Filipino food this is a good day to try.
