Cherry limeaide & perfect storm
Tiny by comparison to it's downtown surroundings.
Might be the tiniest bar in Texas, but they have a cool backyard and taco truck!

How cute is this little bar? We stopped here on our bicycle tour and it was a great stop. Drinks and special shots offered here with plenty of patio seating. Order drinks from the window and service was pretty quick. Glad we got the chance to stop here on our bicycle tour!

The drinks are supper weak here. The stand up comedy was very bad as well. Not the best bar to spend your money on.

You'll know if it's your vibe. It's a nearly 100% patio bar with a walk-up window. (There are restrooms inside tho). We come for the people watching and the cheap Happy Hour. The featured shots and cocktails are cute, not craft. They have a few beers on tap and a handful of cans. There are also two food trucks serving Mexican and Mediterranean on the lot. Come to hang out and not to be seen.Pros: covered deck and misters + near a buslineCons: eh, maybe parking but that's everywhere downtown

Funny name with great happy hour prices. $4 well drinks or lagers. Located downtown with enough outdoor seating to suit the name of the place. There's a few food trucks next to it in case one is hungry

Centrally located, and with outdoor seating in front of a walk-up bar - if you are going for a dive bar, this is the place. Cocktails were disappointing, but cider and beer options were plentiful. Service was nice, heated outdoor seating was appreciated!

In the voice of Will Ferrell from Elf, "You did it! Congratulations! Tiniest Bar in Texas!". Located on 5th street across from WholeFoods HQ you will find this "Tiniest" of bars in Texas. Pay attention or you may just miss it and find yourself circling around the corner to try again.I stopped in to get my card punched so to speak and I can see why it is so popular. This is a prime example of quality overtaking quantity. Their isn't much in the way of seating however I'd have stood without question. The place is a smart use of a small site. A long list of beer, spirits and some original cocktails on the menu. In other words": Something for everyone.I'm glad I came by here and plan to in the future - perhaps post ACL as it is a good stopping point on my journey home.

If you look up dive bars in Austin, a picture of the Tiniest Bar in Texas should appear, this is the very definition of a dive joint, but with a lot of character and fun. Let's face it, drinks are drinks, beer is beer, cocktails are cocktails, no matter where you go, but if you want charm and lots of fun, this is bar has got to be on your Austin checklist. The actual indoors is tiny, hence the name, but there is ample seating outside where you can still feel the vibes of this famous place. The staff is great with a sweet personality, after all, you have to have a great sense of humor to work at this place. You may not make it your regular stop, but you have to be able to tell your friends that not everything in Texas is BIG. Salud amigos.

I can finally say after living in Austin most of my life I've been to the Tiniest Bar in Texas! It really is quite small, but an Austin staple and must do at least once. There is only street parking, so I recommend an Uber or Lyft. Definitely one to knock off your bucket list!

A great patio to hang out on, decent beer selection for the size of the place, and nice staff make this a great spot to grab a drink
