The Wine Cellar est. 2020

We have been to The Wine Cellar a few times when we were in the area. Tonight we attended a wine tasting class for the wines of Tuscany. What a treat! We arrived early, mainly to have a bite to eat before the tasting. Not a whole lot of food available, so we shared a couple of sandwiches. Not great, but it hit the spot. They need more food selections!The wine tasting event was first class all the way. A Winebow distributor presentation of wines from Tuscany. Very well presented, the wines presented were very good. The presenter offered extensive knowledge of the area and wineries included in the tasting. The Wine Cellar provided a nice space, somewhat small for the number in attendance. There was a cheese and charcuterie plate on each table. Really nice was the fact that the staff opened and poured the reds about one hour before the class started, giving the bold wines a change to open up a bit before the tasting started. All in all a wonderful evening. The wines presented were all very good. The Wine Cellar has a first-class wine list, comprising some of the "best of the best" from around the world... and at reasonable prices too! Recommend The Wine Cellar for a glass, a bottle, or a wine tasting class!

Service was amazing and the wine tasted impeccable. Lots of choice. Red wine is my favorite because of my tragic backstory including white wine. White wine caused the death of my best friend from someone sneaking candy cigarettes into the white wine which killed him. Nettspend was playing during this.

This place is amazing and we love it but like a good secret,kinda want to keep it to ourselves. Their wine selection is the best in town and their prices are amazing. Stephen, Tim and John all know and love their wines and are some of the nicest people we know. They offer weekly tastings that allow you to explore all sorts of different wines affordably. If you love wine, this is your place.

Love this place! Excellent selection of wine and small bites featuring local Austin purveyors. Follow their social pages for unique tasting events. The friendliest most welcoming staff- it's no wonder locals frequent this shop & bar.

OK so this is a hidden gem for the hills of Lakeway. It looks like a little nothing store in a retail setting. You get inside and it's a really warm atmosphere, the bartender wine host was great friendly. There's a terrific selections of wine, there's a nice little bar, there's a private room on the side, I think it can be reserved possibly? I have to tell you this was a secret spot that people should know about! The prices were reasonable, the wine selection was great the atmosphere is five stars!Give it a shot guys!

Ethel's is the ideal place to meet friends for happy hour after a long day's duties. (It's a great escape just before OR after the a massage appointment from down the walkway as well!)Fantastic selection of wines from around the world. But it's the atmosphere, the PEOPLE and POSITIVE vibes that attract me MOST to Ethel's Wine Market.Lovely setting.Great selections.Sincere service.5+STARS

I love this place! Great wine and a very knowledgeable staff. Stephen, David and John always make us feel so welcome. We bring all of our friends here and everyone keeps coming back. The bottle prices are competitive with other wine markets so you never feel like you are over paying.

What a great place to enjoy a glass of wine. The ambiance is a perfect balance of enlivened activity and quiet seclusion. The knowledgeable staff introduced a few new wines during the visit which found their way home at the end of the night.

Best place near Austin for wine. Very relaxing atmospherere, both indoors and out, unique selection.
