Pure perfection. This secret bar aka speakeasy is a true gem.Literally iykyk. Some of the greatest cocktails I've ever had. Comparable to some of my fave NYC cocktail bars.Impeccable service and attention to detail by the mixologists who clearly take pride in the drinkable art they're creating.Super smooth ambiance.

When you sit at the bar, the vibes from the bartenders can make or break the visit. On this visit, they had some attitude. We were fortunate that after our Valentines dinner down the street, we visited the treasury found behind Shangri-La and there were open seats at the bar. They had a play on their name for Valentines called The Pleasury. We ordered a twist on a cosmo and manhattan. Both drinks were mediocre and in my personal opinion, not worth the price. We had one cocktail and left. There are so many other spots on east 6th, I'd probably say skip this one.

This speakeasy is located off the back patio area of Shangri-La. It's definitely a bit hidden - look for a green light and buzz the door to gain access. There weren't many people there when we arrived, so Nate and I settled in to check out the menu. Cocktails range from $13-$15, so I thought it was pretty reasonable. The vibe is cozy (the place seats maybe 20 people?) and really felt like a secret spot. The menu consists of classic cocktails like an old fashioned, paloma, jungle bird, Singapore sling, etc. as well as some beer and wine options. I got the Singapore sling which I'd never tried before, so that was fun. Nate got the passionfruit marg. The drinks were both good, but not the best cocktails I've ever had. I'd say my experience was more enjoyable for the atmosphere rather than the drinks. I'm glad we got to experience this spot once, but I don't think I'd necessarily need to go back again if I was in town.

Mad attitude from the bartender. Drinks mediocre. We jetted after one drink. Thanks for the overly hostile vibe.

Came here for drinks after dinner and we thought it was ok. The speakeasy is quite small so there was a long wait to get in and the space got pretty crowded. I got a glass of rose and it was alright but my friend got an espresso martini and it was pretty good!

Everything a speakeasy should be. Hard to find, cozy, good drinks. A great happy hour! For being right on street level they do such a good job creating a secret cozy atmosphere. The bartenders are always friendly and chatty when not too busy. The drinks are well executed classics at an unbeatable price for happy hour.

A cute little speakeasy behind/under Shangri-La. Once you find the door and get buzzed in they have a cute little lounge with a nice cocktail menu. The menu's not huge but it's got some interesting drinks on there and you're allowed to take them up/out to the big back patio of Shangri-La. Bartender was super fun and nice and attentive.

Cool intimate spot for a few drinks! Like most speakeasy bars in Austin, it can get quite busy so better if you come here earlier than later so you don't have to wait in line too long.
