I enjoyed an incredible breakfast. I ordered the Austin 3 Egger with sourdough bread. It was delicious especially the side of crispy breakfast potatoes with Tuscan seasoning! Service was very attentive and Cindy was fabulous. Also, the Green Juice was perfect. Lovely, sunny space with huge floor to windows that bring in the cityscape while dining. Great restaurant!

Had never been here before but was pleasantly surprised with the ambiance - great lighting for a more lounge feeling, indoor/outdoor feel with huge garage style doors open, and just enough background noise for an energetic feel but quiet enough that we could talk and laugh and hear each other just fine.APPETIZERS: Salt and Pepper Shrimp and Crispy Brussel Sprouts were both quite good. Only ordered one of each because I figured that they'd take our main food order soon after ... boy was I wrongMAINS: 4 of got the Short Rib and it was great! Well seasoned, tender meat not drenched in sauce, delicious polenta (just a hint of jalapeno, not too spicy) and fresh baby carrots and green beans. 1 got the smash burger and enjoyed it, another got one of the club sandwiches and said it was OKDESSERTS: Most of us got the chocolate mousse and it was delicious! More of a soft service ice cream texture than a mousse but still yummy. Had very flavorful fruit sauce and sorbet, an excellent birthday meal ending.SERVICE: This was the worst service I've had at a restaurant in a long time. (a) every phase of ordering to receiving item took forever, main dishes easily took over an hour to get to use(b) Our server was nice enough but seemed maybe new to the job and was not taking the expected actions of offering to refresh our drinks or take more alcohol orders (c) there was a different person clearing our plates but they took awhile to come around each time (d) when we ordered dessert, one item was forgotten in the list along with a coffee order so we had to wait even longer again. Thankfully none of us were starving, and enjoyed our conversation and the relaxed vibe, but man that was some sloooooowwww service.PSA: Currently when you visit the website for the restaurant you may be prompted to opt in to get a coupon. I recommend doing it! We did and when I mentioned it the server checked with the manager, and increased the discount from the listed 10% to 20% (maybe he even realized the slow pace of service, which I'm sure was a kitchen management thing not his direct fault). *However* since this is a hotel based restaurant, there was a TWENTY TWO percent gratuity automatically included (yes even for that crazy delayed service) and then the 20% was taking on the total after that. OVERALL: I would go back if I could be assured that the service experience would be a bit more timely and more attentive, cuz overall we had great food and a fun time amongst ourselves. However if I had to be somewhere after dining here, I'd def have been late. So keep that in mind for your planning!

We went here for Christmas dinner. Ambiance: there were no Christmas decorations. Not even a treeService: it took very long for them to bring the menu and also between courses.Food: soup tasted average. The Tradition is an American restaurant that opened a few months ago. My friend took me there for a bday a week ago and we had apps in the rooftop bar followed by dinner at the Tradition (floor 1).Parking was easy via the Hyatt hotel's valet. The restaurant was empty except for one four-top, which was seated directly adjacent to us. (Two twenty something girls celebrating their birthday with their moms by going to the Tradition for dinner followed by a trip to Slick Dick's (!!!).We split the wedge salad but I could swear it was served with Caesar dressing instead of Ranch. Is that possible?The menu is similar to a stereotypical hotel bar, which it is, in that they specialize in nothing and offer something for everyone: sandwiches, pasta, bbq, seafood, hamburgers, salads, etc. We both ordered the salmon, which was cooked perfectly and served on top of a slightly bready and bland crab cake, which was served on top of whipped mashed potatoes, and served with a side of Béarnaise and asparagus. We enjoyed the side of Brussel sprouts that we split.The cheesecake was good but the taste and texture was more like flan. Service was exceptional.

While the food was excellent - the Benedict was made to perfection (as sauce didn't overwhelm the dish) the service was amazing. Cindy was super attentive (even while having multiple tables) and so helpful. Also, love the large windows looking out to Austin streets...

I have never been to this establishment so this review is solely on customer service. For the opening they were hosting a giveaway to both restaurants on IG. I was in talks with someone through their Instagram as I had been the winner of the giveaway. After asking for next steps, all my messages have just been read and never replied to. I have also sent communication through their website and have yet to receive a response.

Got takeout because I was staying at the Hyatt attached to this restaurant and I had F&B credit. Service was excellent, but my order was wrong. I asked for no cream cheese on the salmon tartare handroll but they made it with cream cheese. By the time I brought it up to my hotel room and realized the error, I didn't bother to ask them to fix it. Otherwise the food was good: really liked the Brussels sprouts and the hamachi handroll was fine. Restaurant isn't busy at all but it's new to the area. Happy hour 2-5pm daily

Amazing lunch at the Centric Austin restaurant, The Tradition! The Rotisserie chicken sandwich and truffle fries was an amazing dish!! Highly recommend it!! Staff is very courteous too!

Cindy was so sweet & took great care of us during our visit! The food & mimosas were delicious :)

Just tried this new restaurant inside the Hyatt Centric. The food was really good! I got the hand roll + half salad. I chose spicy tuna which was fresh and yummy. Just the right amount of spicy on it! My half salad was the rotisserie chicken chinois salad. Refreshing and season just right! I would say it is a solid lunch spot! Kader and Ever were attentive and awesome! 100% would recommend!
