This brewery is absolutely adorable with stunning views! It's the perfect spot to relax with friends, family, and even your dog. The staff was incredibly friendly. Sadly, I didn't spot any llamas, but I did see some donkeys! I'll definitely be back!

Food truck had great, reasonably priced options. I had the Vietnamese Rice Bowl for $13, and a wanted a whole other one! Carl was amazing. I'm not a beer drinker, but he was super friendly, and educated me on my options and I loved them all. It was such a vibe, and I was happy that I was able to bring my kid with me to get him out of the house.

Went here for my friends bachelorette trip and it was a fun experience ! The bartenders were very friendly and the mocktails are delicious ! We all really enjoyed seeing the llamas. They had a cute outdoor game area as well. Very fun chill vibes!

Visited this past weekend and fell in love with this family friendly brewery! Good brews, an on-site food truck, kids play area, and adorable llamas - what more can you ask for? The property is beautifully maintained with ample seating. They have a great selection of beers, wine, and non-alcoholic options. Service is friendly and the bartenders allowed us to sample a couple of options as well. The food truck offers sandwiches and salads but I opted for the Vietnamese rice bowl special which was delicious! It does get very windy as it's on top of a hill, so layer up on a winter day! Definitely worth a visit!

This was the first place we checked out when we arrived to our Wimberley weekend trip. We stopped by to enjoy a few drinks and maybe get some food. They have beer on tap, sangria and wine. Wine prices are a little steep. Stick with beer. The area is nice. It's spacious. Lots of room to spread out. There's plenty of seating. Children and dog friendly. They have llamas, but sometimes you won't be able to see them. Their property is large and they roam the property. You will definitely see a beautiful sunset from the property. They do have a few food trucks for food. Parking is available on site. Restrooms are available and clean. All seating is outside.

Great SHADED outside venue to sit back and relax or let your kids roam! There is a playground for and an explorer area and cornhole for the adults! Great little food truck that had some dessert options for the kids. Walk up ordering and wasn't a long wait. Great sangria! They had bathrooms that were nice but had a long wait as there is only 2 of them for both men and women. They did have a port a potty option too. Parking is very limited and hard to acquire! We had to wait for a while to get a spot and heard that parking on the road was very risky!

I came here for a friend's birthday party last Saturday afternoon and fell in love with this bar's location and views. It is definitely quite a way out from the larger metro areas nearby, tucked in in the wooded hills of Texas Hill Country; but, the drive there is definitely worth it! The bar is perched on a hill slope with gorgeous views towards the west-southwest, so it's especially beautiful at sunset. The tables are dispersed under tree shades and allow for intimacy although they are easily accessible. The Shady Llama is also family-friendly with the large playground and the llamas that are roaming the property. There's plenty of (unpaved) parking out front. The bar serves an amazing selection of ciders, beers, and wines. Most of them are locally sourced, which is awesome! I tried two of the semi-dry ciders and loved them both. The bartender was happy to give suggestions and seemed very knowledgeable about what's on tap. There were two food trucks behind the bar serving Tex-Mex cuisine. I had the chicken quesadilla and the food was okay.Definitely come for the views, vibes, and drinks. And bring your friends!

I feel like it's a secret local place.Friendly knowledge staff. Hill country views. If they have the Cubano sandwich and brownies, get them! You won't regret it.

Super disappointed drove 45 minutes arrived at 5:30, yesterday. Watched the sunset for 15 minutes went to food truck and they said they were out of EVERYTHING! And super unapologetic about it. I found this to be unacceptable since they are open till 9:00 pm and you can't bring food in except dessert for bdays. Very disappointing. I had called the morning of too so that I would understand timing etc. Beware of going there hungry at 5:30 or after. I thought next time I would order drinks there and bring Pieous in, an amazing restaurant on the way, but no you can't bring food in so I wouldn't plan to go for sunset and dinner.

Very fun place! It is not a brewery but they do have a wide selection of hill country brewed beers for a fair price. We dint catch the bartenders name but he was extremely friendly and made great suggestions based off what we told him we liked. Outdoor seating only which we enjoyed seeing the storms roll :) very scenic property. Dint get to see any llamas or donkeys but may be cause of the rain. Food was amazing! Shared the Bahi-mi and the Italian club, very big sandwiches. Will for sure come back when visiting dripping springs!
