I was skeptical of this place because of all the recommendations in social media till a local confirm that it really good as I was choosing between this and the Creekhouse. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. All the food were delicious. My highlights were the beets/watercress salad. It was fresh sweet, sour and crispy. It's got great texture. My favorite salad. The side hummus mushroom with pita was so addictive. It was garlicky and the mushroom gave umami. Than the desert. The lemon blueberry panna cotta was smooth and not too sweet. The cookies for the cookies and cream came warm!!!! The pizzas were charcoal oven cooked. They were all good. Crispy crust. If u like cheese get the queso with spinach dip. Very creamy and delicious. Service was good. Our server was very nice. We went in February and it was a cold night, but if the weather was nicely in the warmer weather, I can see this place being a very crowded place. They even have outdoor seatings. If you are in the Wimberly area, do not miss this place.

Ok my husband's blt was good. My egg sandwich on an egg muffin sucked. Burned and I had to ask for toast to fix it. The potatoes were so spicy. I don't recall it said that on menu.Never order that again. The view and the weather made up for it. Desert. 3 cookies 2 were fresh one was hard as a rock.Next trip to Wimberley will try different place.

Seating has both indoor and outdoor options. There is a parking lot.Cocktail: Limoncello Spritz was great! Wasn't too strong or too sweet.Appetizer: Fried Brussels Sprouts was very delicious, but it could have used a tinged more of the thai chile-lime vinaigrette.Entree: The Southern Clucker was cooked perfectly, with a crispy outside and the alabama white sauce gave it a good taste.Dessert: 1. Cookies & Cream was good, but I will say the molasses cookie which was one of three kinds of cookies it came with, was the best one on the plate.2. Ancho Dark Chocolate Terrine was my favorite of the two desserts. It was topped with frozen pomegranate seeds which added a layer of crunch to it.

Beautiful brunch views at the Leaning Pear! Stopped for a quick bite on our way out of town and loved the atmosphere. We were able to get a table immediately without a wait plus it was outside and so pretty. They have fans plus a covered area so you are not in the blazing hot sun. I did find service was slow but the service itself was great. We had the shakshuka and the avocado salamis toast with an egg. Both extremely delicious and healthy. The menu had a very clean eating vibe. Highly recommend stopping by for brunch!

Not the best, not the worst. I got a hot tea, and veg curry. My husband got the crab cake. We shared the beer cheese pretzel appetizer and wedge salad. The pretzel was was good but they are pretty stingy with the beer cheese. The wedge salad was basic but good. My veg curry was ok - didn't really seem like they seasoned it bc the curry broth tasted super strongly of coconut. Don't get me wrong, I make curry at home and I also use coconut milk but I season it heavily so it doesn't taste super sweet like 100% coconut flavor. Doesn't seem like they did that here. Just dumped the veggies in some coconut milk and called it a day. My husband said his crab cake was good. Probably best part was the dessert trio we got with ice cream.

Creative food inspired by the hill country. Cocktails are well-balanced, though I wish there was mocktail options. Food is good size serving, also feels very healthy!

Quick road trip to wimberley last weekend and chose to stop by here for lunch. No regrets! Reasonably priced and tasty food/drinks.We got a hill country Cobb - absolutely delicious and wouldn't make any changes! Super fresh and filling. Also got a half reuben and a BLT. The BLT was lacking a bit for me, but I really enjoyed the Reuben. This was more than enough for 2 people, we also got a side of bread though.Overall a great choice with quick service and nice outdoor seating. If in wimberley I'd definitely recommend. Quick walk to the downtown area from here, too!

Food was delicious. Got the crab cake and it didn't disappoint- not too fishy and had great flavor. Chicken sandwich was good as well as the potato salad.Seasonal sangria pineapple mint was like juice and super delicious - if you don't like sweet drinks would avoid. Great service and the outlook to the greenery outside made it really tranquil.

Had a "Galentines Day" dessert visit. Dessert menu is creative. We chose the chocolate terrine with crème anglaise and chocolate porter cake. Omg Delicious! 10/10. Beautifully presented with complementing garnishes. Friendly attentive server, clean light-filled modern natural space. Very enjoyable, perfectly made desserts!
