This place used to be called Sumac Mediterranean Food, which Google says is permanently closed. As it turns out, it's not closed at all -- the owner just changed the name. The food is fantastic. Wanted some Mediterranean food for takeout and Sumac popped up. Only five reviews but five stars on Yelp. That was good enough for me. I got the chicken plate, my husband got the beef and chicken plate, and we shared some falafel and a salad. All delicious, very fresh. The sauces are perfect consistency and right amount of heat (for me.) Oh, and the guy (I'm guessing the owner?) is super nice. If you're on the fence, drive up, roll down your window and inhale. The smells are amazing.

I believe that Sumac / The Halal Price has been sold to new owners. I am so sad - I loved the chicken shwarma wrap and ate there at least once a week, sometimes more! It was my favorite chicken shwarma ever, spiced with turmeric and served with pickle.
