The Goat Pflugerville

We arrived on January 1, 2025, just in time for a fun pajama day brunch, and of course, I showed up in my PJs and house shoes! The venue has two floors; while I didn't venture to the second floor, I heard there's axe throwing and bowling up there.If you're sensitive to noise, be aware that if someone is bowling upstairs, it could be quite disruptive. Once we settled in, we ordered two Bloody Marys, which were absolutely fantastic! They even offered a build-your-own Bloody Mary bar! The server provides the alcohol in a cup, allowing you to customize your drink with all sorts of delicious toppings and garnishes.My husband opted for the chicken and waffles, and I must say, the chicken was definitely made from scratch, batter and all. The crispiness of the chicken paired perfectly with the fluffy waffle, topped with fresh strawberries. It was a solid 10/10!I chose their breakfast casserole, which arrived sizzling in a cast iron skillet, with the cheese still bubbling. The highlight of my dish was the homemade biscuit. Wow! It was incredibly fluffy and melted in my mouth. I loved it so much that I ordered an extra one!The service was exceptional--1000/10! From the warm welcome at the door to the attentive staff who brought our food, including the waiter and bartender, everyone was fantastic. You could really sense the team spirit among the staff, which made the experience even better. I can't wait to return and explore more of the menu!

Overall: The Goat is a good option for friends or groups. It's very spacious, has a nice sized bar, tvs, an upstairs arcade area, and food is decent. I went for brunch and they offer this platter that can be easily shared amongst a group. Not only do they have dedicated brunch options, they also still include options they would serve during lunch, which I appreciate. I ended up getting the buffalo chicken wrap and I really enjoyed it! For me, it was filling (came with the wrap and fries), however for my husband, he needed more. My cousin got one of the brunch skillets and wasn't a fan of the potatoes, or really any of it.Service was average. The waitress made sure we had what we needed, sometimes we had to look everywhere to find her, but overall the staff was friendly.

Third time going & won't be returning. Foods decent for the area, and the space is great... however every time we go in, we don't get menus or drinks for 10+ min, our waiters constantly change, and our bartender all THREE times didn't mention they were leaving so we sat there for 25 minutes (counted) without refills, and didn't get to put a to go order in since we had passed the time frame to order due to the wait. We really wanted to give this place more time, but when tour bartenders consistently talk crap their entire shift, it makes it uncomfortable & almost feel like they are irritated with guests. Take better care of your staff, or find staff that believe in guest satisfaction. This place is way too cool to go downhill.

Food fun and more !!! Really interesting place upstairs is a second bar and video game room karaoke connect 4 and duck pin bowling. Amazing food strong coffee and fast service.8 got chicken and waffles also split the breakfast charcuterie board with my parents (for 2) it's big enough for three to 4 honestly.

Really fun atmosphere!! They appear to have an arcade upstairs and a big patio space in the back. Good food & great service. Our waitress was really sweet & attentive. Unique spot, lots of TV's at the bar. Convenient location near hotels. Clean inside. Inclusive and private bathroom set up. Would happily come back!

Stopped by on a Saturday night. The place was pretty busy, but no wait. They have a bunch of TVs in all directions with loud games going on on the second floor. Service was great and the food is in the realm of elevated bar food.We started with the Drunken Shrimp. The shrimp was fried well and the sauce was pretty good and slightly sour. I ordered the Smokehouse burger with regular fries. The burger was delicious. The patty was cooked well and I loved the crunch from the crispy bacon. Their BBQ sauce was fantastic; sweet and addicting. The fries were okay and not very crispy. Will maybe try the taste tots next time. The All American was only okay. Taste was good but the ingredients didn't work well together. The sweet potato fries were crisper.

The Goat is a nice place to grab a drink and watch some sports ; however, I was not as impressed with the food. I'd say their menu items are decent enough but, not enough to entice me back to dine in. I imagine I'd stop in again for a quick drink/ happy hour.

My phone died the night I was supposed to have dinner with a friend, so we agreed to go back to a place we'd been before, that would be easy for me to find without GPS. This time around, our experience at The Goat was just ok. It struck me that it was trying to be overidealized "Austin Hipster" in Pflugerville.The food was the best part of the experience, other than catching up with my friend. I'd say it earned 4 stars - good but not outstanding. I ordered the pizza rolls again, and I'd order them again if I ever come back here. We also ordered the hot chicken dip, which was good but too spicy for me, even after putting the hot oil on the side. (It was nice they were able to fulfill that request!)One other detail I liked was that we were given real silverware and fabric napkins. Medium-casual dining is in such decline we can't even take this for granted any more.Unfortunately the place was just so loud and cold I couldn't fully enjoy myself. Not only was there normal noise from talking, but the games upstairs were loud. It's cool they had those games, and noise is to be expected, but they did not design this place with good acoustics. It could be a lot quieter if everything wasn't glass and steel. Service wasn't great either. I assume our server was doing her best, and busy on a Saturday night, but if I'm paying for service, I'd like service. At least we were given a full water pitcher on our table so we didn't run out of water. After our meal, we waited so long to wait for the check, we joked that they must not want us to pay. Of course we did, but...I found it very tacky that employees let some pre-teen boys come in and walk around selling candy for some fundraiser. If I'm out to relax, I don't want to be pestered. Plus, who's buying candy two days after Halloween?!If I need a mid-point to meet up with friends who live North, I may come back to The Goat, but it's not at the top of my list.

Loved the goat and all they had to offer! A really cool spot in pville tied to some mixed developments and housing it was really swanky and had a lot of great offerings including their own in house coffee shop. We shared many appetizers and they all hit including this famous tots, nachos, pizza bites and a bunch more I unfortunately didn't document. Will be back for more!

First time eating here. Good service and even better food! We had the brunch board, and it was DELICIOUS...(aside from the bacon). The food was hot and fresh. The waffles were AMAZING! I never really leave reviews for food, but this time, I had to. I will be back! P.s.I need the recipe for those waffles!
