What a fun addition to the UT Austin area! Don't let the college students fool you as plenty of remote workers and millennials take advantage of Cauldron Coffee as well. What's neat about this shop is how they have a few areas for you to work or enjoy your coffee at: main coffee room with a few tables, an open layout upstairs, and a beautiful courtyard alley that has open and closed spaces.I found myself here on a Wednesday, so I was able to work a little bit in the evening. I say that as they have a Study Hours program they've implemented. Between Thursday-Saturday after 5pm it is a laptops down establishment which I think is super cute. Don't worry laptops are welcomed into the evening hours on the other days. Now the golden ticket here is their espresso martini. One of the best I've had to be honest. I just hope they allow folks to enjoy them in a proper martini glass outside but I understand the justification behind it.The team here is super nice and they currently don't offer food but you can bring in a street dog from an adjacent vendor they've decided to work with.

Fun stop! I got here around 930pm, and their espresso machine was off... SURPRISINGLY, it's now a bar! Haha... I came here honestly for caffeine and now.... I did get a drink with espresso liquor! Doesn't that count? Cool vibe. Great (looking too) bartender with sweet demeanor. I had to stay. The environment is cool too. It's a Great looking patio (and bartender).

The Cauldron has a relaxing atmosphere with many seating options for a social setting or a quiet study spot during the day. There are two floors with seating and an outdoor space with a tv. The outdoor space was a perfect spot to meet up with friends. A band was playing on the second floor, but the music didn't overpower the rest of the space. The outdoor area is laid-back, so there are options for a quieter space to talk or listen to music. I have yet to have their coffee, but I enjoyed a few cocktails. The Carajillo is a perfect coffee drink that isn't as sweet as an espresso martini and is very smooth to enjoy. Frida was awesome and suggested a few drinks that were great! They have some other fruity drinks that are also very good. Overall, I loved the quaint and casual setting, and the drinks were reasonably priced. I would definitely return to the Cauldron and recommend it to anyone looking to try a new cocktail bar or a quiet daytime study spot.

Trendy spot by West Campus that is coffee shop by day and eatery/bar by night. The moment you step in (in the AM), the smell of incense is strong. Pretty standard coffees and lattes but was happy to see sufficient indoor and outdoor seating.

This new coffee shop/bar in West Campus is a really nice spot to chill with friends. There is indoor and outdoor seating. I tried to study here, but the blaring jungle music was too much for me. It put me on edge. The chai latte was good. The carajillo was a tasty coffee cocktail, although very overpriced at $10 as it was served in a small glass filled with ice. If you're looking for good vibes and decor with friends near campus (other than the unsettling jungle music), The Cauldron is a nice place to hang.

I was so excited to see another coffee shop open up in West Campus and the Cauldron DELIVERED!! They had been building all throughout summer and the anticipation was at its peak but WOW the interior is gorgeous. There is such a nice cozy ambiance to the building. The wood and the green alongside the indoor-outdoor set up was such a good vibe. The hours for the ship is also amazing considering they are one of the later closing cafes around campus. So far, I love the upstairs area, there's some bigger tables and couches for you to be able to lounge and do work in. When I first saw it, my immediate thought was how nice it would be to read a book here while raining - romanticizing this place to the max right now but it is so well deserved. NOW THE COFFEE -1) Iced Vanilla Latte: This was a really really good vanilla latte. It was super creamy but not creamy to the point where it'll coat your tongue. It was sweet but not overly sweet and it was really great balance between the espresso, creamer, and the syrup. The price was pretty standard, 16oz for around $6. OH and there wasn't a lot of ice which for me is a major green flag because that's VALUE. 2) Cold Brew: My friend got the cold brew and honestly I cannot give an objective review because I do not like cold brew (sorry sorry). But from what I heard and from my one sip, it was pretty good. Similar pricing across all the drinks. I want to come back and try their ESPRESSO MIXED DRINK. I heard some really great things about it and I am definitely coming back.

So this is a relatively new coffee place, having opened about a month or so ago. It's located at 24th and Saint Gabriel, which is the old Freedman's Barbecue historic building. They've converted the inside into a modern space, and they've made a very nice courtyard for sitting and enjoying your drinks. I went by and had a cold brew this morning, and it was one of the better ones I've had in awhile. They had a few granola bar type snacks, along with instant oatmeal. They said they had tacos coming later in the morning. The two baristas were very friendly. While this is a coffee shop by day, at night they serve cocktails. There's no parking other than paid street parking.A solid coffee choice if you're in the West campus area.

WOW, what a cool place! The upstairs is so cozy and spacious. The seating is pretty spread out, which is nice for some calmness and privacy. I got a matcha latte and it was delicious! I would definitely come back to use this space for work/read a book/meet a friend.

I love Cauldron! Their drinks are absolutely delicious, and their decor is beautiful! I feel like I'm on another world when I'm there, and the service is always friendly. When I first tried their coffee, their staff was amazing at providing me recommendations and answering any questions I had. Make sure to stop by for great coffee, drinks, and vibes!
