The Big Taquito

Cute little food truck right outside student services building across from Littlefield Café on the UT Austin campus. They specialize in taquitos which are pretty big, so don't let the "small taco" name fool you. They also have quesadillas and various toppings that you can add to both of those items. The more toppings - the more tasty. Check them out today! They also have breakfast tacos which I didn't try but are totally my next visit menu item.

I had no idea what a taquito was and decided to try since it was right on campus. Cashier was super nice and helped me choose which toppings would work well. Highly recommend the chicken and cheese with everything on it and green salsa! Really quick service, great price point, and yummy food. Definitely recommend checking out even if you've never had it before.

Amazing food, great staff, and extremely fairly priced. The Taquitos were perfectly crispy and flaky from the first bite to the last. We also ordered the quesadillas on flour and they were amazing! Sometimes you get quesadillas that break down or are too soggy but these were perfectly cooked. These guys are new on the block but I definitely feel like they will be a great addition to the Austin food truck scene. Go check it out if you're on the strip for sure.

Wow! Can't say enough good things about this place. The flavors were an explosion in my mouth. Amazing! Customer service was also top notch. Great location as well. I will for sure be here for breakfast before my classes and after the football games! Hook 'em!!

How cute is this truck?? Today, I was looking for a quick grab and go bite and stumbled across this taquito truck on UT campus. The smell immediately captured my attention and to my delight, the prices were incredibly affordable unlike other food trucks in Austin. I ordered 3 taquitos with all toppings on top and WOW -- the outer crisp and the cheesy meat filled inside with smothered sauce etc., exploded with flavor in my mouth. The owners were super friendly and they provided speedy service so it was nice not to roast in the heat. Anyway, overall amazing food, price, and atmosphere. Will be back to try the other items on the menu! Heard that they may start doing breakfast tacos too wooo!

It's easy to add this to the list of great food trucks in Austin! The Taquito had a crunchy exterior and flavorful filling. They had a bunch of toppings to choose from , you can dress them up or dress them down, I tried them both ways and ! I would also recommend you try their quesadillas. Overall a refreshing concept with good ambiance and a noteworthy staff!
