The food is always the freshest quality, we have visited multiple times and it is our favorite restaurant in Austin. The service is very prompt and courteous, QR codes on the table automates ordering, and ordering more food is very simple and efficient. The ambiance is calm and casual, great for families, it's a place you could eat lunch or dinner everyday, if it wasn't so far for me to drive. They also have a coffeeshop and pastries for breakfast. And Vegan ice cream makes this place very special. Many of the dishes on the menu are gluten free as well.

Went to this Thai restaurant as a recommendation from a friend and it was a great place to wrap up my Austin trip. I came on a Monday afternoon so it wasn't super busy but the parking lot was still full. On the bright side, there was street parking near by. The restaurant itself was really nice. Half of it was the sit down meal side while the other half was a cafe. My friends and I got a couple items to share and my favorite items were the pandan latte, jungle noodles, and the sirloin steak salad. Everything was very flavorful and the food came out very quick too.Great place if you're looking for something different in Austin!

We meet our adult kids occasionally for dinner in Austin and they get to choose a place since they live there. It has to be in south Austin though so we don't have to drive across Austin. This restaurant was a great choice. The food was delicious and the drinks were also pretty good --especially the Tiger Punch. I had stir-fry with chicken and rice and really liked it. My husband and daughter had drunken noodles and said they were really good. My son had a pork sandwich and raved that it was really tasty. We would go back here in a minute. The service was also very good with the workers patiently answering a lot of questions since we had never been here before. It's kind of a small restaurant, but it offers great food. I think they also had a military discount.

Great little location with flavorful food. They do have a small parking lot. One side of the building is a cafe FILLED with homemade vegan ice cream and gluten-free treats. We didn't try any but they look really yummy and I'm excited to try it out next time. The other side of the building is the restaurant. You can order food using a QR code at the table or by walking over to the cafe to place your order. Noise levels are pretty low, or at least they were when we visited on a late Sunday afternoon. We were seated immediately at a table in a sunny spot. I wanted to order the pork belly salad, but the menu said it was out of stock. We selected our appetizer (sesame shrimp fritters) and drinks (basil lime agua fresca, Thai tea) and I asked the server why the pork belly salad was out of stock. She said that it was because they were out of cucumbers, which is the primary ingredient in the salad. I went back to my table and ordered the pork belly pad Thai instead, while he ordered the coconut vermicelli. Shortly thereafter, our appetizer came out, which included......... a side of cucumbers. So...... are we out of cucumbers or nah? Because these are absolutely cucumbers here. My confusion is deep. I was pretty disappointed because I wanted to try the salad, but I ate what I got. It was all very good. The fritters were crispy. The dipping sauce had a little kick but wasn't too spicy. The pad Thai with pork belly and cracklins had lots of flavor. The scrambled egg in it was almost meaty. Everything tasted super fresh and had a nice char. There is no dessert menu, but if you desire a sweet treat the cafe is just a few feet to the left. My main issue is the fact that the kitchen and FOH don't seem to be communicating well. Our entrees were well over $20 each for portion sizes roughly the same as you can get at other Thai places BUT the tip options were 3/5/7% rather than the 15/20/25% that has become so ubiquitous. I'd much rather pay a little bit more up front than wonder whether or not my server is gonna be able to make rent this month. The food is very good, and I like the concept of two very different but unified experiences under one roof. We will be back for sure.

Love this place! Truly some of the best Thai food in town - consistent for years! The pad Thai, basil fried rice, pineapple fried rice, red curry, fried chicken and waffles (brunch) - all amazing!! Most items are gluten free and labeled on menu for your information. Service is always quick - food is usually out in less than 10 minutes. Has outdoor seating and dog friendly as well! There is a bakery inside (many gf options) and ice scream shop inside as well. The ice cream is all coconut milk based and delicious!! It's dairy free but still so creamy! Great flavors and can do affogato too - which is soooooo worth it.

SERVICE/AMBIANCE- There is limited parking at the restaurant but street parking nearby- You order your food at the table via a QR code- Clean, lots of spaceAPPETIZERS- We ordered the larb nang gai tod, which was crispy chicken skin with different spices. I didn't realize this was chicken skin rather than actual chicken, so I was a bit surprised at first. The actual flavor was amazing and so tasty. The chicken skins were very crispy. Definitely a flavor that you'll crave after you leave the restaurant- We also ordered the sesame coconut shrimp fritters, which were very tasty as wellENTREES- We ordered chicken pad kee mao (drunken noodles), which was very smoky and flavorful! Definitely one of the best pad kee maos I had in Austin - The beef pad see ew was also good but I think the pad kee mao was better

The food is undoubtedly sooo delicious!! Everything we got was mouthwateringly good. The curry didn't come with a lot of rice, so we ordered an extra bowl. However, the wait time was atrociously long. We wanted probably 30 min for food. I feel like they are severely understaffed. Come only if you have a lot of time to spare. Parking lot is small too-good luck on finding parking. There are two areas of the restaurant, one for to-go orders and one for dining in. We originally couldn't find parking so we were going t order to-go but managed to get a spot last minute. You can order by scanning the QR code on your table. Food is so good though. Especially the curry!

Goddamn delicious folks. First time heading to Thai Fresh, and I'm very happy to have finally given it a go. Went for dinner around 6:30pm on a Wednesday. Plenty of space, and the interior was very inviting. This is a primarily service free restaurant, where you can order by QR or at the counter. We used the QRs at the table, and within 10-15 minutes our food arrived.Pad Thai (sub avocado oil for soybean), rice balls, and coconut soup were this evening's selections. Everything was bursting with flavor, and the complexity (salty/sweet/sour/umami) was really amazing. The only minor complaints would have been: 1.) Pad Thai had a bit less chicken than I'd have hoped. And 2.) Prices were a bit high. But hey, you pay for quality. By all means I'm excited to go back and try some curries and other noodle dishes!

Thai fresh lacks authenticity, flavor and service. Austin has much better options elsewhere. We had the coconut soup, drunken noodles with chicken and pad see ew with pork belly. The coconut soup and drunken noodles were passable but expensive compared to what you can get elsewhere. It was the pad see ew that was that was bland and oddly sweet (honey? sugar?) and the pork belly was dry. Pad see ew should be a bit sour, and also salty but neither of those flavors were evident - it was just oily and sickly sweet and not really edible. I mentioned this to the server as I had assumed a mistake was made. It happens. No attempt was made to bring the dish back to check or to check that there wasn't a mistake made. He went to the front after I explained the issue and came back showing me his cell phone without even bothering to taste the dish that it is what it should be. He proceeded to show me some random pdf somewhere a description that it can be a bit sweet from the dark soy. Again not evident in our dish. The total for meal came to over 60 without drinks but tip was required to even place the order. We left hungry. Disappointing and not worth the time let alone the cost. While it's busier and a bit more expensive, Elizabeth Street Cafe is pretty close tastes better with better value / ambiance.

The service was sooooooooo slow. We waited 40 minutes for our food, and the restaurant wasn't even busy. There were many empty tables. This is a self-serve type of restaurant where you order on your phone with the QR code at the table, and you get utensils and water yourself. I am not sure why the food still takes so long, as you would think this process makes the service more efficient. The price was also crazy high. The pad thai with chicken (the cheapest meat option) was $18, which is much higher than most pad thai prices in Austin. The portion wasn't particularly large. I did like my pad thai though. It was a nice flavour with good chicken. My friend got the pad see ew, and it was drowning in sauce. The taste of the sauce was overpowering. It soaked through the takeout container. She liked how there were many vegetables included though. The ambience was kind of strange. The restaurant was so dark inside and felt like we were in a large tropical hut. The parking lot is very small, but there is free street parking in the neighbourhood.
