Texami

If you live off South Lamar I can't stress enough that Texami is the latest and greatest food truck that has shown up on the block. I tried their breakfast tacos first, and Peter (the owner) does an excellent job on toasting the tortilla and not skimping on the ingredients inside. It gets better though, I tried the steak quesadilla this afternoon and it's savory and filling. This owner is going places and I highly recommend trying out what he has to offer. Also rad that he plays the guitar out front until the customer comes up to the window.

Visiting from Cali and friend recommended this spot for a quick lunch. The guy was super friendly and welcoming! I tried the chicken quesadilla and it was really good, fresh and filling.

Great food, with cold beer available. The tacos are my favorite it. Very interesting menu. Check it out.

Stopped here for a change in places I get food. Ordered the Hot Chicken sandwich. It has a wonderful flavor mid to hot spice with a tint of sweetness. The Chicken cutlet was thick and cooked perfectly it filled out the bun.

Stopped by here for a quick lunch w a friend. The chicken tacos were full of flavor and a good size. Owners were very friendly and they got my order out fast. Can't wait to go back and try the quesadillas next time. Definitely would recommend!

This place is SO GOOD! Atmosphere is chill and cool, plus the staff are super fun + friendly. They know what they're doing and honestly are magicians with how much flavor they can pack into every bite! The chicken quesadilla was super fresh and is hands down one of my favorites in ATX now. 100% worth it. Do yourself (and your mouth) a favor and visit these guys!

Outstanding cheese burger! One of the best I've had in a long time. Will definitely be returning soon and often!

Please don't go here unless it's a Halloween. It's scary AF. Once you enter, there are two scary and unleashed dogs. They bark and growl and lunge at you and are not your friendly little pups. Then once you get to the food truck, there's no working card service and you have to pay actual cash. Who carries cash these days?! Anyway, what a waste of gas and time coming out here. I did see the food and it looked like the food they would feed those horrible dogs. So I guess all in all I lucked out not wasting my money.
