Swung by here the other night (a Tuesday) at 9:30p to grab dinner after seeing a comedy show at The Creek and The Cave nearby. The owner was the supa kind, warm gentleman in the food truck working who personally helped me. He was very patient with me, as i was indecisive about what to order since i was starving & literally everything sounded increíble. (i don't remember his name, but i will get it my next visit and update this review!)He suggested the chicken tikka masala, and i couldn't have been happier! it was scrumdiddly-umptious! hot and fresh. fulfilling and satisfying. quality, authentic indian food on-the-go, pronto, folks. i had leftovers as i get full fast, and the leftovers heated up fine & still tasted yummy - and i hardly ever say that about leftovers! if i were to give one critique/area for improvement: i personally feel the chicken to rice ratio was a little off, and would have liked ~2-3 more pieces of chicken. Will be returning to try out their paneer rolls and samosas! Definitely my fav indian/pakistani food truck i've tried thus far in #atx !

The best chicken Samosa I have had since I moved to Austin. Super crunchy and flavor. I will come back to try other food from the menu.

After hitting up some bars and wanting some drunk food. There really weren't too many options; going midweek and during COVID certainly meant a lot less activity so Taste was basically the only option during my visit. I got the kabab roll with all the sauces. You know what? It wasn't bad, especially for post-bar food it hit all the targets: greasy, flavorful, handheld and slightly messy. I was warned that the spicy sauce would be much but it was fine. I don't know what the other options at the food truck park was but Taste from India seems as a good a stop as any other options there.

The food was delicious and was filled with lots of flavor. Affordable pricing as well as big portions for leftovers. The man working was also very friendly and happy to know how we liked the food. Would come back! & deff worth a try (:-Visiting guest from California

More like Waste From Indiana. This place was a disappointment. It wasn't awful, we ate it in the car and it was pretty wet which I liked, but it was lacking Spice, and the flavour was much too mild and the chicken too dry for me to really enjoy it.It cost a little much too, and showed again that Austin's late night food truck scene is not as good as it's daytime food trucks. Sure, there are a few good ones, and for me this wasn't really one of them.

Ordered some Dal Rice, veg samosas and Chicken biryani last night. The Dal and rice was awesome and absolutely loved it. Giving these three stars for that item only. Rest of the two items are big zeros. Samosas need not be that big if they dont have a filling in it. It is just like eating fried flour. Chicken biryani was aweful.Suggestion: Samosas need to be worked on. Reduce the size and put good amount of filling in it. Provide some mint chutney or sweet tamarind chutney on the side.

Stopped by late night on a Saturday night for some Indian food. Went with the chicken tiki masala. I haven't had Indian food since my stay in India, so I was beyond excited. To my surprise it wasn't the best food I've had with my stay here in Austin. With all the other surrounding food options there you might want to check out something else.

3 nights in a row we've stopped here; had the tikka masala and the giant veggie samosas the first night, the chicken curry the second night, and the chicken biryani the third. Everything is authentic, and appropriately spiced. The service is quick and sincere; whether it's 11:30 and just into the night or 2:30 and almost closing time, they're quick and thorough- everything is seasoned and cooked wonderfully. I HIGHLY recommend

I've been eating here on and off for over 5 years. I usually would get samosa's or paneer but last night was my first time trying the Lentils over Rice. My goodness it was so damn good I had to jump on here and write a review. I'll add a picture next time I order it again. It was too good to stop for a photo last night.

First: guy used bare hands on my samosa. Gross. Then I found out they don't have the green cilantro sauce. The samosa tastes like it's from a frozen package at Costco they fried up. This is an unacceptable place to eat.
