I am always on a search for real Al Pastor. The kind the comes from el trompo (see pic) if you don't know what el trompo is. Found it deep in the heart of TexMex county of all places. This place Is grandísimo! The Al Pastor is delish! Very authentic. Feels like you are in Mexico inside. They even have tacos de caballo. The staff was great and speak mostly Spanish...bonus! I will be back to this place whenever I am in town.

Amazing pastor and barbacoa tacos. Wonderful people. There is nothing fancy inside but that's the folksy charm of this place. If you know, you know. You have to try this taco place. You will thank me later.

I pass by this place every day on my way home. After reading all the great reviews, I felt I had to try it. Be aware it is cash only, no printed menus, and no prices on the wall order menu.Does not look like much from the outside. No one inside spoke very much English but we were able to communicate with my limited Spanish .Ordered the Pastor taco plate and an order of fries. The menu is pretty limited to tacos of several varieties, a hamburger, quesadillas or a burrito. Be aware the red sauce on the table is smoking hot. At least to me, the green sauce was more my speed. Lol. The pineapple and onions on the table were a unique plus and combined well with my tacos. My food was out quickly and very hot temperature wise. Both my tacos and fries were good but not much different from ones I have had elsewhere.The dining room door was propped open and I had to battle flies during my lunch. Not sure why it was open as the inside had AC going. My total was $16. Definitely not a cheap lunch for 5 mini tacos, a drink and fries but without a printed menu with prices I paid what they said I owed. I am glad I tried it but will probably not be back.

Whenever I need perfect street tacos, I go here... my mouth is always watering, and you can't beat the price either!

Cash only. Come prepared. Here is the deal, I come from SoCal and have family in Mexico. I grew up eating street tacos from birth. These tacos are hands down the most *authentic* and *delicious* tacos around. The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and the food was perfection. Melt in your mouth goodness. We've scoured the area and NOTHING compares to the real deal like these tacos. We tried asada, suadero (fajita), pastor (our FAVORITE) and chorizo. $2 for mini tacos (our children 5 and 8 had 3 each) and $3 for regular. So affordable! My husband had 5 regular sized tacos . Can't recommend enough! Support local and delicious vendors and check them out!

Great food great service and best prices. Place is at a different location than the map shows but still has some fire tacos!

OH MY GOODNESS It's a small menu, but who cares when it all is sSooooooo delicious. The family are extremely sweet. It's just a lovely atmosphere. You sit and just smile and chat with your fellow diners. It never matters that one person speaks Spanish the other English. Where all there for the amazing food.try anything you will not be disappointed.

Pastor is spot on. Includes the cilantro onions and pineapple. Barbacoa and fajita meat are excellent We are taco hunters and this place has got it going on old school!Highly recommendDefinitely worth the drive from Austin.

Amazing pastor tacos! Only downside is they don't take cards but that doesn't stop us from going almost every week.
