TAQUITOS 183 Bar And grill

Best migas around!!! Made them to perfection! Tortillas crisp, fresh pico and cheese melted perfectly!!! And that creamy green salsa! Wowza!!! Great service too!!!

I'm super happy this place exists! Finally, Gonzales has a truly GOOD taco restaurant! I've been disappointed by other restaurants in the area and had all but given up on eating better than average Mexican food in the city. Until Taquitos 183 that isI particularly recommend the chips and salsa, as well as the ceviche with tostadas which are very yum! The place is very clean inside which is excellent. We received good service both times we visited, once for takeout and once for dining in. There were however a couple of miscommunications (orders not being understood) but we were able to clarify / rectify everything. The only thing that disappointed me was the sloppiness of the cook on one order. My husband had asked for the shrimp dish, and accidentally received the mixed dish. The waiter had mistakenly understood that we had wanted the mix. Errors happen, we get it, so we weren't bummed out, and they brought back the correct dish the second time... Except... The dish still had many pieces of beef tossed in it. The cook hadn't bothered to remove all the meat before tossing in the grilled shrimp. Now, that is sloppy cooking / service. Whatever the reason someone does not eat beef (they could just not like beef, or they could be following some diet) does not matter. What matters is the customer ordered a specific dish. In this case, it was a shrimp-only dish. Keeping pieces of beef on the plate shows a disregard for the customer and laziness to do their work properly. There's a difference between being sloppy and making a mistake. This was definitely plain sloppy.Maybe the cook was having a bad day. Maybe they were frustrated. Maybe they just like beef and assume everyone else does too. In any case, this needs to be rectified, as it doesn't set a good precedent.Other than that we recommend Taquitos 183. Hopefully the cook is in a better mood the next time we visit! We'd love for this place to become a Gonzales staple. I really want them to succeed!

Pastor and asada mini tacos are fantastic. Their charro beans have great flavor as well. We like to get the party packs for our family.

Great tasting food , friendly staff they will make your order right and fresh , food smells good and fresh I love to get a lemonade with my order today I ordered a burger.they let me know what ingredients they have in there order.

Great breakfast tacos! The food and service is awesome. These people have been serving Gonzales for over 15 years and from donuts to enchiladas, they don't disappoint!

During recent trips an ate breakfast at Taquitos, The migas were good. I will stop again and try lunch on my way back home
