Taqueria Tacontento

Came here to grab lunch before hitting the road back to Dallas. It's a quaint food stall with a small seated area for customers to enjoy their food. Being that it was an extremely hot day, we ordered our food to go and ate in the car. They have various food items to choose from along with freshly made juices. I ordered the four chicken flautas with no cotija cheese but they ended up adding no cheese at all (it came with a melted cheese as well). This made for a dry meal that I didn't eat in its entirety. I can say the salsas were good and my coworker did enjoy the tacos he ordered.

Birria will have my heart everytime! Tacontento will too! I swung by, because this food truck is in the parking lot of the smoke shop and I was hungryyyyyy! If came hungry, left happy, was a food truck, it would be Tacontento! The blonde lady who whipped up my tacos was kind and quick, and didn't get frustrated as I practiced my broken Spanish with her. There is a cute little shaded patio with a wooden pergola. A surprising amount of seating for a food truck. Plants and string lighting, too! Not only is the food good but the vibes are too. 10/10 would recommend!

Lovely people staff is wonderful. My friend ordered Carne Sada Street tacos but I was more like beef jerky.. I ordered a torta. It was huge, but not memorable. We also got aguas frescas and watermelon. To me, they were very sweet didn't really taste like it was natural. I thought it was a little expensive but I know everything is now super expensive. Everything came out to $40.

Finished up physical therapy at Doc and didn't want to cook. Was recommended and decided to give them a try. Order a chicken quesadilla to go. Was impressed by the taste, salsa and the "salad" that came with it. Opened them up shoved in some of the salad added a little salsa and preceded tear them up. Was pleasantly surprised they were damn good. Just a fair warning the creama was a bit salty not sure why never had it like that before. I will be back. The food truck has a covered area as well as a few tables out in the open.

We stopped in for a snack. This little truck is super convenient and had a cute patio to enjoy your food on or you can easily get it to go. I ordered the daily special which came with a Cubano torta and small Aguas Frescas for $10.99 The torta was HUGE and it was filled with delicious tender meats and fresh toppings like tomato, avocado, and lettuce. The bread was perfectly toasted and the flavors were all present. I really enjoyed the green salsa but the red was good too. Just a little smokier than I generally like. It was a little difficult to communicate with the truck staff and one of our orders was slightly wrong, but otherwise this was a good experience. The pineapple cucumber Agua Fresca was super light and refreshing and great for a hot day

The mystery of when Tacontento actually opens lives on. Though the hours are posted on their food truck, they tend to open when they want to. However, that's the life of a food truck owner, you are the boss of your own hours!Breakfast tacos-- they have plenty galore all for only $1.99 EACH!! They also have several lunch selections, such as Quesabirria Tacos, regular tacos, Tortas, and more. As for beverages, you will find the best Horchatas here!

Food was tasty. The service was great. The owner and his daughter were really nice and joyful. Would highly recommend.

Perfect little food truck, with plenty of room to share with friends. Friendly service. Qursabiria Tacos is the best! I also tried it with their pineapple chia seed drink. Ps: the more you dip the better each bite gets.

First time trying this today. Portion size of the breakfast tacos were great. I ate 2 bacon and egg tacos and were full. The price was good for the amount of food you get. The salsa was really good too. Definitely will be going back.

Big burrito was terrible. Veggies taste like they've been sitting out. Cheap ass red pre made pastor meat. No bueno.
