While visiting my brother in la Grange we picked up breakfast tacos here. We order the combo taco and it was delicious. Believe me when I tell you, this taco is pretty thick. One is more than enough to satisfy your hunger. The combo taco was really good and flavorful, and I enjoyed it. I think it's take out only because I didn't see any inside seating, but they do a good business and the food is good. If you're in the area stop and give them a try, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Tacos are BIG, made to order and always fabulous. They seem to always be doing something to improve the outside or waiting area. It's looking great. Love that new exterior color. Great family business worked with pride.

Really good breakfast tacos at a good price. Easy location to get to when traveling. They are pretty big also!

I stop here about once a month for breakfast. As of last visit, it was to go only - no indoor ordering or seating. Food is good, prices are reasonable. I'd give 4 starts if you didn't have to stand outside waiting on your order

Really wonderful breakfast tacos! I was headed from Austin to Houston and was looking for lunch. The bacon, egg, potato and cheese and the same but with chorizo. The flour tortillas are soft and fluffy and everything tastes very fresh. Clearly very popular with the locals too!

I thought I had posted a review the last time I went to Taqueria Rio Verde but apparently note. I've had two vastly different experiences. First - this place is really popular on weekend mornings about 10:00, when I went in both times. Expect a good 20-30 minute wait.The first time, I ordered the migas plate, which was very good. It took about 10 minutes for them to prepare, after a 20 minute wait, but it was worth it because it was hot and fresh. The second time (this past weekend), I just got a taco made from the steam table ingredients. It was pretty huge but not particularly amazing in any respect. Just didn't have much flavor. The salsa is pretty good but not very spicy. My recommendation - order one of the specials plates to get hot, freshly prepared tacos.Next time I return to La Grange, I'm sure to give Taqueria Rio Verde another try to make it 2 out of 3 good tacos!

Breakfast tacos are very good! I wish they had tables inside in the air-conditioning and heat.

The food is great, but you got six people in the kitchen and takes you over 30 minutes bust out one or two tacos then the lines backed up and then we're all sitting here for about an hour

I stopped by on my way back to Austin after locating this restaurant on Yelp. It's a takeout only restaurant and there's a 15 minute wait. I wanted the fajita taco, but it was unavailable. I choose the brisket taco, instead, and it was pretty good. The 2nd taco I chose was the REAL winner: the cactus and pork! I have had cactus before, but this went to a new level! It was the best taco I have had, in recent memory. The cactus was cooked to perfection and the pork was meaty and tender. This will be my go-to taco place in LaGrange.
