I like the food and the prices are reasonable. Quality of service will depend on who is working I guess. I tried to call in a to go order last night, but the person who picked up the phone didn't speak any English at all and then she hung up on me. I speak a little bit of Spanish, generally enough to order food, but I didn't even get the chance she said "no habla" and then hung up.The location is also a bit difficult, people just park however and there always seems to be someone driving dangerously through the parking lot. They are also situated relatively close to a dumpster so in between smells of tacos, there is whiffs of the dumpster. The food is as good as any other taco truck and I like that they stay open until 11. That said though, I just went to another truck up the street instead when they hung up on me.

Really solid breakfast tacos! The chorizo is outstanding. Service was great, and the tacos came out pretty quick. The truck sits outside of a gas station, so you know it has to be good.Be sure to know enough Spanish to order, or at least be able to communicate what you want. Keep in mind that it is a food truck, so the hours could be off at times. But generally they're open when they say they are!

Hands down the best torta and horchata I've had. The Torta Peloncito was packed with a cacophony of ingredients that all worked perfectly with each other, and the horchata had that perfect balance of sweetness and creaminess that is hard to come by in NYC. My friends got the tamarindo and jamaica varieties of agua Fresca, and they were equally as spectacular.Extremely generous portions and value - they could easily feed two people with one order. And to top it all off - the drink portions are also huge! $5 for what feels like a gallon of the best refresher in Austin is an absolute steal.Gonna try out their breakfast tacos tomorrow. Even without having tried them yet, If I had to eat at one spot for the rest of my life I can comfortably say I'd eat at Peloncitos.

This place is consistent and fast and is the best neighborhood spot to pickup something for the kid. Their menu is pretty basic but gets the job done.

This my closest stop for breakfast tacos. I always get the bacon egg and cheese on flour. They are always fast and perfectly cooked. I really like the red salsa here. Its just the right amount of spicy. They have a pretty solid menu that everyone is sure to find something they like on.

Don't sleep on this place - don't let the size or location of this truck fool you! The food is authentic + the flavor is most definitely there. This is my go-to taco spot!! Homemade flour tortillas, bomb* ass* pastor*, and for cheap. I love the pastor tacos on corn con todo, OR a sope -which closely resembles a Mexican pizza on a corn meal (masa) patty/crust, significantly thicker than a chalupa/chip. Their salsa verde is spicy but sooooo flavorful, haven't tried the red. There's two picnic tables to sit and eat, but they are barely covered by a small awning. Advanced level taco eaters: avoid the heat and call your order in ahead of your arrival, which is what I normally do. They accept cards, but tip in cash!

We were on our way to visit McKinney Falls State Park and stopped at this Taqueria based on all the positive reviews and closeness to the park. I'm just curious as to why hasn't anyone mentioned this taco stand is parked right next to a dumpster??? I assume most customers do a quick drive by and order their food to go; otherwise be ready to enjoy your meal while dodging flies along with the rancid nearby trash aroma. I ordered their Tacos Al Pastor ($2.00) and Beef Fajita ($2.00) in flour tortillas. Meat was dry but the fresh cilantro and onions did help enhance its overall flavor. Overall, price and food ain't bad but having the Taqueria next to a smelly, fly-ridden dumpster is just a deal-breaker for me. -JF

I'm gonna start with the tacos are automatically flour, so they're decent sized, I would've liked for them to be corn, ladies there were not attentive I had to ring the bell when they were just talking in front of me "for a while" it was not a work related subject so service was not the best. I asked for 3 bistek tacos while my mother asked for 3 Al pastor total came out to $24 which is ridiculous, the bistek was chopped up so much it was almost ground beef which I absolutely hate! Pastor was mediocre, I asked for grilled onions and grilled onions on tacos are usually cut long ways but this time it was like they were too lazy to do that so they used prepped onions already so I basically ordered a $4 picadillo taco WORST TACO SPOT IVE TRIED HERE IN AUSTIN DEFINITELY WILL NOT COME AGAIN
