We are from out of town and wanted to eat authentic Mexican food and were so pleased with Taqueria Los Jaliscienses. We had a large group and they accommodated us with no problem. The service was great and they had our food out quickly. I would definitely recommend their menudo. It is so tasty with lots of flavor. You can't go wrong with your choice. The parrillada was good. My husband said the chicken was juicy and the steak tender. Their side dishes of beans and rice are very good. Not greasy like other Mexican places. Definitely try this place if you're looking for an authentic home style Mexican cooking. Oh and a bonus is that this establishment is family owned.

For a local Tex Mex place, this one can't be beat for location as there aren't many sit down places this side of the interstate. They can get incredibly busy during certain times of the week but all the women work really hard to get orders out as quickly as possible. Normally my go to order is a cheese chile rellano but this time I got cheese enchiladas. Their green sauce is fire!

Delicious and friendly. We felt like family there. It was packed and we still got our food in record time. Loved it.

It's been a few years since I've updated.... Still delicious. Still amazing salsa verde and our family of 4 has a slightly bigger appetite now (kiddos are 16 & 19 now) but we were just over $40. We didn't partake, but you now have the option to order beer by the quart (there were quite a few Modelo/Corona quarts on tables... I almost got one... but needed to head up to Austin after lunch). Service was great.

Typical Mexican dishes. Good service, good prices and better than average taste. I'll recommend for satisfying Mexican food cravings but not for a dinner date.

So, I had heard this was a good restaurant & could not wait to try it for lunch. Pulling into the parking lot, I noticed so much trash & broken bottles littered in so many places. Then, while moving slowly thru the lot looking for a parking space I went over a speed bump that more closely resembled a parking spot stop & it caused my sedan of standard height with 20" factory wheels to bottom out. The whole place just looked. So sketch, I decided not to enter the restaurant as I WAS CONCERNED ABOUT THE ENVIRONMENT AND WENT TO Garcia's instead. It's a shame, but I won't return to that venue. The restaurant owner should complain to the mall operator to clean the place up and make it customer friendly.

The food is good. I love their Chicken Tortilla soup. The only thing I'd say is that there have been times the tortillas were a little under cooked.

Telephone service-- Only 2 people seemed to habla english... took forever to get a few questions answered about some food items I was interested in. Learn english un poco please. Exception with the service-- the only gal who was kind and I would say pretty much holds this establishment together is the young lady with glasses and really cool hair. She seemed very under appreciated by the staff and everyone can learn a thing or two from her, where customer service is concerned. Food-- not worth the price at all. They are stingy with their portions and you can't purchase ala carte anything-- the lady taking my order said no ala carte and said I could only buy a plate with rice and beans... I don't like rice and I don't want beans. Also, the care in thinking how to build a burrito should be given more attention, as my husband's super burrito seemed to have zero avo or sour cream. He got down to the last few bites and there it was finally a few slivers of avo and a lump of sour cream... Price-- Way overpriced for what you get... We got the following:Two crispy tacos (tiny by the way)2 teeny tiny bean and cheese burritos (with the wrong cheese) An order of mini tacos (asked for onions and cilantro os. Didn't get it)3 chicken flautas plate (skinny, teeny, tiny, barely any meat in them) Side of guacamole Customer service-- again the gal with glasses and cool hair-- AMAZING. This gal asked one of the servers if my order was done and the server said it was. She grabbed my bag and the nice gal pointed to me and said that's hers, and this snotty server seems like she is going to hand it to me and then pivots away and sets my dang order on a table behind her. The nice gal looks at her and seemed stunned at her blatant rude gesture toward me.Sneaky fees if paying with credit card-- see pic of my receipt. This was a phone order mind you and they could have mentioned the NON-CASH FEE! I tipped them even though this was a take-out order-- your welcome. Needless to say I will not be back here and my food is way better. Never again will I patron this establishment.
