Taqueria & Restaurant Guadalajara

Our string of disappointing restaurants in the Burnet area continues on! This time was at Taqueria Guadalajara Arandas. We had the most uninspiring blandest breakfast tacos yet. The whole thing felt store bought. The potatoes were undercooked, beans feel like they came out of a can, and just a little bit of cheese is sprinkled on. It might have been somewhat okay had the cheese been melted on top and some Verde or dona-type sauce given to add flavor.The Migas plate was slightly better than the breakfast tacos but it still has the underdone potatoes and canned beans.Service was friendly, the waitress seemed new and did not speak much English. I should have checked Yelp and avoided wasting one of my meals. Maybe the lunch and dinner items are better?Next time, we'll just go to Maudie's or Taco Deli. I wouldn't consider this place again.

Always good food and service. Great prices, generous servings and overall an excellent place for breakfast, lunch or dinner.Pro tip: order a side order of Pico de Gallo with whatever you order

Management alone is trash. There's better tacos throughout burnet. Started coming here bc the service but seems they have new people who are not friendly.

Literally the worst tacos i have ever ate. The Chorizo was burnt. The bacon was burnt. The eggs were undercooked. The tortillas were rubbery and clearly not homemade. The chips were from a bad bag and not fresh. The Carne guisada was way over seasoned. Just an all around bad experience.

Tasty bean rice cheese burrito with guac on the side but a tad pricey for a normal sized burrito -$14.

This is my favorite restaurant in all of Austin. It's my favorite thing ever. The cheese enchiladas with red sauce are fantastic. But seriously I love them so much they catered our wedding! We had all sorts of enchiladas and tamales at the wedding and all of them were fantastic. The wedding was 2 years ago and people are still talking about how yummy the food was. Everyone who works here is so so kind and helpful. The pitchers of salsa also just adds to the experience and ambiance of the whole place. I cannot stress enough how much I love Arandas and how much you HAVE to go here.

We have been coming to this restaurant for 20+ years. The previous business was bought out about a year ago. The food is still really good. The service is NOT. We were the only customers in the restaurant on 1.13.25. The waitress was unfriendly and generally confused. Not unlike other visits to the restaurant. We had to flag her down for everything we needed and nothing was over the top. Things like the drinks we ordered. She was busy watching a TV program. I no longer recommend this place nor will be returning.

Excellent food with large portions. Great value. Friendly staff, want to go back and try their lunch/dinner menu.

didn't have enough meat on it asked for sour cream, cheese and they said no it's extra only thing they would put on the taco is lettuce and tomato I was thinkbig because it was like a lil hole in the wall it would be good but nooo don't waste your time or money . The service was okay. It was clean for the most part

I really love their tortilla soup. Lots of chunky chicken, fresh avocado, and a delightful broth.
