Tacos Vallecito

They had me at HAND MADE TORTILLAS!You gotta know. We had just left a show. Comedian "Fluffy". It's about midnight. We're hungry. I decided to use Yelp to find tacos near me and 5 different places pop up in the same area. I accidentally passed the one I selected. Turned right on the next street and there's like 2 taco trucks and a restaurant across the street. I pull in thinking I'm going to turn around and go back. Then I saw it! Hand made tortillas. The plan then became. Try 2 here then go over to the next one. However, the tacos were delicious! Run by all ladies! The place is Nice as can be for the area. There's benches to sit and enjoy! We ordered mas tacos to go! Highly recommend!

Hours aren't anywhere. I was told not so politely to go away when I walked up. Smelled good at least

My friend and I have a tradition to hit a new food truck after every leg day, and today was Tacos Vallecito. Needless to say, it didn't disappoint. Both of us got the al pastor torta and they were properly delicious and full to the brim with meat. The bread wasn't extraordinary, but it wasn't bad either. Regarding drinks, my friend got the horchata (delicious) and I got a Mexican coke (also delicious). The seating area was nice and the service was friendly and prompt. Perhaps most importantly, it felt fairly priced as well. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quick bite in the Riverside area.

Called in an order and Popped over the other night to try this place out finally. I ordered a Barbacoa burrito. It was very flavorful and perfectly portioned. All of the ingredients within tasted great, and the Barbacoa was the star of the show and they did not skimp on the amount inside the burrito. I was very impressed with the overall quality and texture of the flour tortilla, though it is more the type of burrito to eat with a knife and fork, which I was fine with being that it's size was very large and eating it slowly actually added to savoring each bite once I added a bit of both red and green salsas to it. The salsas were perfectly warm/hot--hot/hot but not burning the mouth uncomfortable. All in all I must say that for a sit down and relax at home burrito experience this has earned it's 5 stars and I will be ordering this again. Tips: -have your phone translate app ready when calling in. -pay cash if annoyed by a credit card surcharge.-make sure and get extra salsas if you're a fiend bc they only put one of each, and this is a extra large burrito.-careful if buzzed bc the tiny stool to stand on to order is wobbly.

Amazing tacos, amazing service. Happy to have found a new spot!The flour tortillas are especially good I would highly recommend anyone in the area to try them out. I would include a photo but I ate it so fast.

Tried this place last night for the first time and I was surprised with how amazing the food was. The area of the location was so hidden and barely any people. They honestly deserve more business and deserve more customers. The food was fresh and the tortillas were freshly made. Love the carne asada tacos and the horchata was definitely worth $5 each. Looking forward to trying other things from them. Thank you! Such amazing hard workers in this kitchen.

Great reliable spot for food the lady cook with love her homemade tortillas are the bomb. I like to take my tacos home and throw them on the cast iron make them really crispy its the best. Its small mom and pop literally i like to support and the have a outstanding product.

The handmade tortillas make this place a special one. The tripas are some of the beat around and the aguas frescas are the best companion to the food they serve.
